Aspen nods and gently sets down the prey and takes a step back, the leaves crumbling under his paws. "I'm Aspen! Who are you? Do you live in a pack around here? I live in the Solar Pack!!" He smiled happily.

Saphira narrowed her eyes for a half-second, then realized that Aspen was attempting to be friendly. She padded forward, grabbing the prey quickly before retreating a few paw steps. "Just a loner passing by," she said, trying to draw attention away from her, "What're you doing all the way out here?" 		Starry

Aspen looked at her and smiled again and bounced up and down "I'm Aspen! And this is my first time out of my camp so I wanted to explore everything!!

Saphira stepped back. How was this wolf so… energetic? She forced a small smile, "Congrats on being allowed out of your pack, then, if you're just a year old." She swished her tail. Saphira had been able to travel since she was born, as long as she came back with food. Aspen must have a really strict pack, then, and be pretty bold to come out to the edge of the territory. Anyways, she could mess with him… just a bit.. "Why haven't you been allowed out? I've been traveling here forever. I guess  it's weird your pack doesn't even let adolescents out, huh?" 		Starry

Aspen sighed and looked down "Well... we used to be able to travel as far as we wanted, sometimes the pups could even come... but when our pack leader died in a trap we kinda closed up." He looked sad just for a second but then looked up and wagged his tail, all sadness gone. "But now I am able to sneak out!" He grinned

She dropped the rabbit. "Why would they not  just train you? I mean, you're clearly a goo- decent hunter," she scoffed, "Your pack must suck." She swished her tail, edging the rabbit towards Aspen with her paw. "You might as well take this rabbit then, so you can go hunt with your 'wonderful pack'." Saphira thought for a second, a few ideas forming in her head, 		Starry

Aspen looked at her and shook his head, "You need it more, plus my pack is already filled with hunters so I can't train with them... although..." He looked up but didn't say anything else
