Once a week each player can enter one wolf from their pack to participate in the games. They have to be hunters only -no leads or scouts. You can only enter in the Biome you are currently living in. On Thursday at rollover entries close. The best in each hunting category is automatically set by the game in the role they are best at and placed in one of 5 hunting teams (or 2 or 3?) that are going to go against the 5 best teams in each of the other Biomes. For example - hunting team one from Tundra consists of the wolf submitted with highest strength for finishers, the 3 highest combined speed and agility for chasers, and the highest wisdom and smarts for stalker. Hunting team 2 would be the next best in those stats, and so on. Stats would be the major focus, which proficiency possibly also included, but to a much lesser degree. No RNG on this at all would be my preference. The winning hunting team across all Biomes would have the highest combined total stats in those areas as a team. To encourage more people to enter and limit someone being able to monopolize the teams each player can only enter 1 wolf each week. On Friday sometime games would run, and the results would be posted. Maybe 1st through 5th place teams? The players who submitted the wolves in the winning team all get a prize of some sort, and all the members of the 1st place winning Biome team who entered a wolf get a prize as well. 1st place gets the most desirable prizes, with something for winning teams down to 5th place team. I think this would encourage working together as team members in a particular Biome. If you see each week you are losing because no one has a good finisher you could all work together to try to improve that. This could even tie in with the current clan conversations -maybe some of them would be the Hunter Games biome clans? I did see something about clan prizes and such submitted in those discussions by Naike -I've just always wanted it to be focused on the hunting teams. I think this would be a fun addition. Since hunting is already largely influenced by stats it would give another outlet for that as well. |

I'm a little confused about your proposed mechanics. If each player can only submit 1 wolf per week, how are there going to be full hunting teams? Do you mean each player can only submit 1 team per week? |

I suppose the players could choose if they wanted to enter a finisher, or a chaser, or a stalker and then the game automatically chooses each from that pool based on stats as noted above. |

Since stat trainers flock to glacier or rainforest, perhaps there should be (dis)incentives for being in certain biomes? Maybe challenging biomes have a negative modifier applied to their teams, but the prize is slightly bigger? There could also be disadvantages that go to the previous winning biome, or wolves could be unable to enter multiple weeks in a row. To make my next suggestion possible there should also be some way of determining an overall winning biome each week - maybe most 'matches' won? Maybe a 'superteam' built out of the top 5 teams goes against the other biomes' 'superteams'? I think there should be something to incentivize players to enter wolves even if they don't have great hunters - perhaps a (small) bonus to the top teams/superteam depending on the stats of the wolves who didn't qualify? If there'd be overall winning biomes I think a good prize would be a hunting % boost or a lead fighting bonus for the week that goes to everyone who entered a wolf in that biome. |
