Warm Coat Champions

Posted 2020-11-14 23:43:12

I love warm, especially the dark ones. My favorite base & marking color in auburn. <3

My stud is sulphur (warm medium II)! [link] Working on his markings, currently he's got one RMA-exclusive.

Here is my stud.  He is a Dinar [Warm Dark II] with only two markings - White Medium Husky in slot 1 and 10.

Oh! This is a lovely thread to find. I just made the pivot to Warm as my primary focus! My markings are geared toward the more neutral bases within the category, but the brilliant autumn-looking studs in this list are so striking! I wonder if I can dabble in getting females with the bold markings and work with the some of the bright studs here...

My Lead and Stud are both Warm Tier II (Lead is Dark, Stud is Light). Venti, shown in the second image (white eyes) is a heritageless first Companion, 328 stats at time of posting, 10M, probably best-suited for more neutral breeding projects, given his coffee-themed customization.

edit: Venti’s stats have been improved to 356, and while it was not initially mentioned here, his stud fees have been lowered as well!

My pretty Ducat boy finally grew up today, I splurged on filling/modifying his marking slots and made him my pack's first real breeding male. Can't wait to see what kinds of puppies he makes!

Ah these are all such pretty warms! Thanks all for joining and contributing here :)

I have a batch of warm pups I'm about to chase (nothing wrong with them, just personal rules not to keep more than one from a litter) which are refunded to anyone in this thread who want them:

Oh those pups are so nicely-marked! Totally good rule, though, puppies pile up. That said, I would happily add to my pile if I might adopt the brown female (second from top). If it isn't too much (don't want to be grabby!), I would love to get my husband the Chestnut newborn on the bottom, if I might also get a hold of him when he's weaned. :)

I've got a male named Tangerine (link) who's Gold Darker (warm medium I) and 266 stats. He doesn't have any markings, but the way I see it is that makes his genes a blank slate for markings from a hypothetical dam.

I also have a female named Cinnabar (link) who's Amber (warm dark I) and 290 stats, but I intend to breed her to my Onyx (monochrome dark II) stud when she goes into heat on Nov 23. If I get any warm-coat pups out of that pairing I'll post an update in this thread for you!

Last but not least, I have a female puppy named Carmine (link) who's Red (warm medium I) and only 201 stats, but she's not even weaned yet and once she's all grown up I'll be levelling her nice and quick-like.

Hmmm might be that something is bugged. I don't see a trade on my end? Or possibly it went to the wrong person? xD
