The Source of the Poop Herbs!

Alright, so those of yall who came from Lioden know about the Elephant Mafia, and how they are cannibals and etc etc. (For those who dont, you can read about said theory Here! Now, this is not necessarily a theory about a critter mafia, but more to explain where the poopy herbs come from!

Now, im sure we all have had the poop encounter,  

Elk, Moose, or Bear.

Now, Elk have similar deposits to Whitetail deer, just a bit bigger, and if you dont know what Whitetail scat looks like,  Click Here , so that rules out Elk as possible culprits. Well, does that mean Moose have similar droppings to those of Elk and Whitetails? The short answer is yes! Its just quite large. Click Here for Moose Poop!

That only leaves bears! Because bear scat is quite large, and in the cases of bear species like Grizzly's and Polar Bears, their droppings can be quite large! The bigger the critter the bigger the deposit am i right?  What im saying, is that the bears eat the herbs when they get hungry, (the same as eating the food from your workplace) then go and poop in the woods. Thus making us smell the herbs in the poop and digging joyfully through them to find the herbs. 

And now, i know what you're thinking. "But Spacee, what about the times you dont find anything and the chance to get Diarrhea?"

Well, that is an easily answered question! The bears KNOW we dig through their scat, and sometimes dont like it because it is them trying to mark their territory! So the cease eating the herbs to mark their territory, and we get the karma for digging through them and not always getting anything from the piles!

You may be on to something here lmao - To keep a nefarious theme like lioden going, I think possibly it could be the work of our resident herbalist bear himself: 

As the wise herbalist of the game, it is safe to say he knows a great deal more than what he would teach our wolves, and I wager one of those things is... Poison! I think he knows a secret herb combo which he eats so that your wolf gets infected when digging through poo, which in turn forces you to come to his shop and hand over your cones for a diagnosis... 

Of course, there has to be a reason to go digging in the first place, so he plants herbs to lure us in :)
