Happy Times for everyone for having a whole year of this game though! Maybe in the future a good solid anniversary celebration could stretch at least a few more days for people who might be a bit overwhelmed with life but still want to enjoy anniversary things. Maybe next year! |

This game has developed so much. The implemented features I like the most are the fishing minigame (everything about it including sounds, interface, weather affection, scoring system), fox base (helped me have a popular stud with no obligations), battle system overhaul (just made battling more interesting and irritating... can't retreat when locked? really?), questing overhaul (battle trophy quests are my favorite, the rest are just fillers) and pup/adol training (bringing some value for non-NBWs). The updates sometimes affected the market and I loved seeing economic changes, it motivated me to look for new profits. Wolf tails sold very well on the day sentinel variant was added into the game. Racing for fox base... mhm... I had fun with SC inflation caused by the questing overhaul, though it surprised me so well I regretted I hadn't stocked more GC. Short-term it was really fun, but long-term... everything now seems to be affordable. Pair bonding has made males more useful as a gender and I really liked it at the time of implementation but I suspect it caused studs to be less desired. The value of genetically mutated wolves has dropped since more players learnt how to get them with Gene's Hollow. The healing salves buff was the change I disliked the most. They've been one of the most common items and those struggling with finances could manage to sell them much more if I needed to buy them but now I don't have to because I get them more than use even though my lead constantly fights for stat boost. Anyway, I have played many browser games developed by small companies and Wolvden has progressed really well. The mature attitude of the staff is not commonly seen in such games. It's sad though that the community has shrunk, this site deserves more attention. There's been great moments, there's been not so great moments but overall I've been enjoying this game with everywolf here. This is the nicest community I have played with for such a long time (at least nicer than me). |
