It's such a small thing and I know it's only for this event, but I really like it. Before her foraging felt bland since she wandered off and came back without saying anything, like... well, like a mindless NPC. But with the strange herbs showing up from nowhere, she'll mention them. It makes sense for her to do that, since she's reporting an odd occurrence that she doesn't understand any better than my lead does. It's not much, but it makes her feel more real and gives more character, and probably most importantly of all, helps give the impression that my pack's actually noticing what's going on. It's a nice touch, that kind of stuff makes things more interesting. :P |
