Bull and buck elk and deer IRL tend to shed their antlers in the spring, and regrow them through the year so they're ready for the rut in the fall and winter. However, Wolvden deer and elk seem to keep their sharp, pointy antlers year-round! What I propose is having male elk and deer encounters and art (for food and otherwise) change through the year in couple of small ways. In the Spring, I'd love to see antlerless art, and in the Summer velvet-covered tines! Where in the fall and winter, it can remain as it always has. Let me know what y'all think and thank you for reading! |
