Mottled Tundra stuck farther away from the pack, gazing up at the stars as if she just hoped they'd give her some sort of answer. She didn't truly see a way out of this like Theia did. Mottled wished she could be much more like the younger adolescent, much more happy-natured….much more— intelligent, even. The Alpha let out a long, distressed sigh, craning her head downwards, shaking it. …How she was stuck here…

(I make my reappearance! While I'm also writing something non-wolf to get myself back in my writing style.)

Pretty good! Waiting on replies to other rps and a friend to message but otherwise good :D how're you?))

Primrose padded away from Mothvoices, going to find some nesting materials. Mottled was just outside and Rose's tail started to sway. "Are you okay?" She questioned with a small whine, coming closer to the Alpha.

Juniper helped move the other hunter to the Herbalist den (just skipping forward so we aren't stuck when we get back :D) and returned to Sorrel, checking over the pup with a small smile. "Come on runt, let's go find a nest." She said, satisfied he was alright.

(Doin pretty good, just writing on this document with an idea for Andrew, since my boyfriend's not much of a writer but he gave me a response to what fit his oc.)

Mottled's head snapped up, almost as if she were spooked. "Ah-- sorry...I'm fine, just worried for the future of this pack. It doesn't seem too bright, now that I check back at it.." The Alpha admitted, her head lowering and her ears doing the same. Her gaze held remorse, fear, worry, every emotion similar. She let out a long sigh, a whine following before she spoke; "It's...hard...I don't want the pack to perish.."

Primrose came closer, sitting beside Mottled. "We can always try to move. I don't know how many scouts we have left, it might just be Mothvoices... but I'm sure I can help out a bit, we only really have Sorrel to look after and I'm sure Juniper will be glad to take care of him." She glanced towards the borders, as if she could see the other pack. "We just need to avoid the other pack. And the humans."

"...We can't move...Not until we're all recovered." Mottled replied, solemnly. She lifted her gaze skyward, her amber gaze reflecting the starlight. "Maybe even then...it's risky, very...very risky..." Her voice quivered as she tried to hold it steady. Her paws trembled and every bit of her seemed to be on edge. "I used to be such a powerful leader, reduced to this...I'm not sure if I'll be the one who leads the pack out of these dire times, Primrose..."

"Mottled Tundra! Don't you say that. No one here is ready to lead, Theia, Cricket, Mothvoices are all still just adolescents. Juniper has her pup, and Paleshadow is our only hunter until Sorrel is old enough to be with me most of the time and I certainly can't lead!" Primrose replied, a tone used for scolding pups bleeding through. She touched her nose to the other's shoulder. "We will get through it. If we need to move, it's... it's a small enough pack to find a decent territory further from the human lands. Otherwise, we just need enough order to get ourselves settled."

Mottled muttered something to herself, almost as if she were scolding herself for the fact she'd just let herself say such a thing. Ah, stupid...That's just discouraging, and it had slipped! The She-wolf lowered her head, forcing herself to not let any other aspect of the topic slip through her own jaws.

"I'm...sorry, Primrose. I got a bit ahead of myself there..." She spoke up after a bit, turning her amber gaze to Primrose. "Thank you for stopping me. I've been growing quite negative off of the fear this situation has given me."

(Yo, Mottled actually behaving like a somewhat human oc? No way!

This document writing is actually really helping me get into Mottled's character now lol)

"Of course. You can talk to me, to Juniper if you need. Just... be careful around the adolescents and Sorrel. Don't need them worrying." Primrose replied, a soft smile spreading across her face.

"Come on, get up and stop worrying. I need to go find nesting material for the pack, you need to go and make sure everyone is alright. Keep an eye on Mothvoices, don't let it overexert itself. Theia should get some rest, you should talk to her, make sure she's alright. And tell Cricket that you're proud of her, she has to take over being a herbalist with barely any help. No mentor, nothing. I hardly know anything about being a herbalist so I'm afraid I won't be of much help."
