RMA Rates User Log Parser - NEED DATA!

RMA Rates User Log Parser - NEED DATA!
Posted 2021-11-21 02:06:58 (edited)
Exciting news! We now have a tool that can help us figure out the probability of getting a certain mark from a random marking applicator! If you have ever used one or are curious about them, please read on and see how you can use you user log data to help!

First, here is the most current data!

If you have ever used RMAs, please consider contributing your user log data as well, so we can have more accurate percentages of the chances to get a rare mark! It's quite simple actually, just follow the instructions below.

  1. Go to your user log and search "Used a random marking applicator" without the quotes. Here is a link for convenience!

  2. Copy all entries in the user log, including timestamps! like this:

  3. Go here to the parser and paste your user log in the "input" box. Like this:

  4. Click the "crunch" button at the bottom of the page.

  5. Go here to the spreadsheet template. It's not editable, however. Click "File --> Make a Copy" and save the spreadsheet on your own google account. PM me if you don't have a google account! You can still share the output data with me some other way.

  6. Paste the text from the "Output" box into the "Data" tab on the spreadsheet, like this:

  7. Repeat for all RMA pages of your user log. Delete the old input, paste the new user log page, crunch, and paste the new output in the spreadsheet below your previous data.

  8. Post the link to your spreadsheet here and I will add your data to the master file!

Having trouble? Anything not working? Post your questions here and we can try to help!

Resource list:

Parser is here!
Blank Spreadsheet Template is here!
Master Spreadsheet 1 after raffle studs were released
Master Spreadsheet 2 before raffle studs were released

Finally, if you are not familiar with marking tiers and what the different types of marks are (combo, raffle, event, etc.), you can familiarize yourself with them in the handy grouse house guide HERE!

Actually finally, a quick reference:

Tier 0: Common Markings [NBWs and customization / marking app]
Tier 1: Custom Markings [Customization / marking app]
Tier 2: Raffle markings [Wings, lupos, panda, merle for some reason]
Tier 3: Event Markings [Selene, Luna, Clover, etc]
Tier 4: Empty
Tier 5: Empty
Tier 6: Combo and Shape Deviation Markings [All combo colors]
Tier 7: RMA Exclusive Markings [Inuit and tamaskan]
Tier 8: Rare NBW Markings [Points, shaded, and smoke]

Credits, posted here so as not to clutter the first post:

aleator created the parser and spreadsheet! Just like with level up stats and slot machine winnings, this is just one of the many incredibly useful tools they have contributed to the community that will take user log data and calculate it into something useful! Note this was a commissioned work, no different than art!

And have been collecting data from various users and up keeping the spreadsheet, to ensure that it is updated with new marking releases.

Yes please, thank you! I need the output either in a spreadsheet or the output format like this:

The summary page doesn't do much good as the master spreadsheet can't calculate with those numbers.
