Please reconsider the Black Friday Promotion | RNG has no place in real-money purchases

Huge support. The real money gambling aspect is awful imo.

I support making this change this year. Im much less inclined to make a real-money purchase if I can't be sure Im getting an item that is exclusive to that.
Someone earlier stated that to have a wide disparity of win-value, it would take someone being extremely lucky and someone else to be extremely unlucky. To me, that's the point. There will be someone who is lucky and someone who isn't. The items in each teir should be equal to one another

I support this idea and almost everything everyone has said here.

Unfortunately, I don't think Wolvden would ever move away from the current format. Unlucky people make the developers money, and who doesn't need money?

Just seems like a way to sucker people out of money with cheap grove items that they could've bought with their newly purchased GC anyway when we would WILLINGLY give them MORE money if they were to take out the items in the pool that you can get outside of the Black Friday sale and balance the winnings better.

I totally get the RNG for the item pools, but I don't agree with the item content of the pools that the RNG is choosing from.

Not everyone has to win at an RNG pull, but at the very least could we get exclusive items? Give me a decor turd or a "festive rock" or maybe something similar to a Meat Pie (but a turkey-thanksgiving-black-friday version?) and I'd be happier than seeing a damn jellyfish that I will NEVER USE and could've bought myself.

I support, and agree with what other players have already said in favor of this idea. I'm debating purchasing GC on Black Friday, but I haven't in previous years because of the RNG for the item pools. It doesn't incentivize me to buy GC if some of the potential items I'd get are cheap or are something I'd never use. GC is very much so an extra, non-essential purchase for me, so to buy some I need a reason or incentive that's better than "wellll, you mighhht get this cool thing, but probably not". At least being able to choose what I get would be an improvement.
