Hello all! As we're starting fresh with a brand new game, with wolves that have no heritage, a question popped into my mind. If you've played Lioden, you're familiar with "clean" vs "dirty" heritage. How many on here will choose a playstyle that avoids inbreeding? As far as I know, the game doesn't currently have an inbreeding footnote feature like Lioden. So, any attempts to have this playstyle would require manually tracking family trees when breeding. At least for Lioden, this has no in-game affect, it's purely for the player's choice. I want to hear your thoughts on this. Who's thinking about this? Who isn't really interested? Maybe someone can set up a group/clan for clean breeders when that feature is launched. Personally, I think it's a goal to make the game more interesting. It's a nice challenge. |

I don't like doing inbreeding even if it is an online game. I'm going to do stages probably. Were I keep the pups i want, all from my own bloodline and when the time comes to get a new male breeder. I'll try to get a befriended one and just spice up its markings. That's my plan. I'm going to try and limit buying pups from other players as well. |

I will be breeding only clean lined wolves! It feels more realistic and brings more challenge to the game in my opinion (as you said too). And I have been breeding CL wolves before in similar game. :D This topic is real good because later on perhaps I can find from here people who also breed CL when I'm looking for stud etc! |

I've never done clean before, but I plan on it now! I'm kind of intimidated but I feel like it'll make things more fun and challenging, and gives me something to be proud of. (: |

I think that would be a nice resource for those of us wanting to clean breed. |

Yeah when people post their studs we could add it to a doc forum that everyone can view. Maybe we can do a clan/family thread. |

It'll make it more challenging particularly in the recessive mutation hunt. Breeding relatives would be the quickest way to see if you have mutated wolves. |

Some mutations I think can be obtained through inbreeding I'm not sure if it only inbreeding or if it increases the chances. |
