Nellie and Inuk’s private RP 🦋🌲

Blue wagged his tail a little. ''Oh! We've got feathers, lots and lots of feathers! The Blue Jays keep dropping them, so we pick them up and bring them home. But aside from nesting and playing, there's not really any use for us. We'd keep them as decoration -oh wait that's a good idea'' he then mumbled, but didn't give any time to even respond or think about it himself before continuining again. ''But you can definitely take those! We've also got uhm... Swan Feathers, yeah! They are sooooo soft! But we don't use them for nesting, rather as a toy. Feathers, you like feathers, okay.'' That last one was a mental note for further gifts for the pack as both him and Nellie loved to give gifts. In fact, the satchel he was wearing used to indeed belong to her, but it was also filled with shiny rocks, pretty rocks, indeed pretty feathers too, and other trinkets that he loved to collect and give to his favorite human ever! He wouldn't give those away, because those were his trinkets, but still, Inuk would be able to take lots and lots of Blue Jay Feathers out of the hoard. He found them everywhere! Blue wagged even harder at mentioning learning Nellie a true way to communicate with wolves. Oh my gosh! She'd be able to- He could *talk* to her! Talk to his favorite human! He even jumped a few times around himself, in circles as if chasing his tail, but was unable to say anything about it. He only stopped going around in circles when he saw something big and black and it 'screeched' (he has an overactive imagination xD so I made sure to put it in '' these things) to him. ''WAAAH! Oh, you're a bird,'' he then said, immediatly calmed down again. This caught Nellie's attention as well, and she greeted the bird as well, but no matter how much she wanted to pet it (she wants to pet EVERYTHING lol) she instead just spoke to it. ''Oh hey there little one. Fancy a berry?'' Out of her satchel, she digged up a reddish berry. She didn't know wether he'd been fed out of hand, or how they fed him or if he could catch stuff, so she settled with a bow and putting it down in front of the bird, next to the wolf who it belonged to. Then she turned around again with whatever she was doing, which Blue now realized, as she didn't have any berries before, was fruitpicking. (Also just making sure here, he didn't tell the story about the turkey, he was just thinking back about it. He's waaaaay too embarassed to even think about it, let alone tell someone haha! The only ones that know are Nellie, him and the turkey and possibly wolves who saw a young barely pup run for his life from his prey xD.) ''Oh, there's three wolves here,'' she mumbled, then leaving behind another hare carcass for the second wolf, and then she was out of carcasses. Meat chunks! She had em; they were her signature dish. Either raw for the wolves as a treat, or cooked, grilled or... well, not raw, for herself. She'd use her knife to scrap some edible chunks from a carcass and leave the rest to the wolves. She didn't know if wolves could do this, but she really loved the meatchunks, because Blue and Danté were struck with their flavor. She loved making treats for the wolves and giving it to them. ''So uh, this might taste a little weird, as they were rubbed in herb paste,'' she mumbled. She did that when she saw a wolf crush herbs with a rock and then lick the rock for the paste, seeming to really enjoy the taste and also recover some energy and health. ''But I promise, they're not poison or anything, they're edible and they're-Oh.'' That last one was towards a hand being pushed on her hand. Her first reflex was to pet back, but she refrained from doing that, and instead just chuckled. ''Aww,'' She said. ''Well-'' But she couldn't get any further as in the distance, Blue screamed. Seriously, his yelp sounded like a scream... Even to Nellie. She startled up. ''Blue!!'' Getting up, she sprinted towards him... And she was greeted by a scratched Blue, that did something he never did to her. He snapped around, and growled at her. He just... snapped, growling and with a tiny bark. The message was clear... Back off! Nellie immediatly did so, but more out of shock and emotion rather than actually listening... ''Blue....?'' She said, tears in her eyes. But he only repeated the action... He'd never done this before... But soon, they would grow to understand *why* he was doing this to Nellie... (Imma just leave this on a cliffhanger LOL.) |

Inuk looked over to Chemukh. The large Raven cawed in delight as he indeed, had fancied a berry. He took the berry swiftly from Nellie's hands, in turn dropping a small shiny piece of scrap metal to her, as a gift. Chemukh gazed happily as the girl spoiled her Raven, Chemukh seemed to sense of natural understanding from her. She nodded to her as the Raven cawed and returned by her shoulder, and up top her head. Finche, who was a bit more sliddish and shy, wasn't sure what to do once Nellie came forth to him with the meat chunk, he backed up a little, just watching her quietly, and keeping his distance, than once the chunck layed upon the ground, he walked forwards, and nodded in gratitude, slowly inching to take the meat. Inuk stood tall upon a jagged boulder a few paw steps away from the others, readily eyeing the distance, preparing to leave for home, as she stared in Nellie's direction. The others begun to follow her direction, as Inuk pricked her ears as Nellie suddenly ran off as if to find something. Her ears swivled as they adjusted to hear sounds of distress. |

Blue didn't respond to her anymore, except the low growl that was emiting out of his throat. Soon, Nellie would come to find out just why he was doing this. Very soon. Because the bushes moved... And out of them? Came a huge, brown flash. It was flying right over them, roaring in the process... (I actually looked up if bears could jump for this, they can, but I don't know how much meters because the results were all in feet) The next moment, Nellie saw nothing for a while as all the air was bursted out of her lungs. The moment Nellie could see again, she was staring straight into the face of the bear that now had his paws on her shoulders. Nellie had trouble breathing as she stared into the sharp teethed face of a bear, growling in her face. She couldn't move -even if she would be able to try-, couldn't breathe properly... It felt as if everything had slowed down, including herself, being trapped in a paralyzed state. The next thing she knew, another flash leapt through the air, a white one, growling and barking. Blue. He'd jumped the wolf, and was now hanging from its neck. the bear shook and stood up on two paws, giving Nellie the oppurtunity to get away. She didn't, she was a little slow as she saw Blue dangling from the bears neck... Luckily for her, the bear landed its front paws away from her, next to her. But the claw still grazed her shoulder, and she yelped. That... really hurt. She had little time to inspect the cut -it was deep tho, she could see that, it tore the short sleeve of her shirt as well as her skin- but it seemed to be purely a flesh wound only. This got Nellie out of her shock, and she rolled aside in pain, unable to stand up yet. What she was able to do, was slightly turn over her good shoulder, her right one, and hold her left one, seeing Blue get thrown off the bear.... It was a bad hit. The bear shook to his right, and Blue flew right over him, having no choice to let go. But even then, it looked like it really hurt his neck... ''Blue!'' Nellie shouted, now fully recovered from her shock and rolling to get up her feet. Adrenaline rushed through her and dazed the pain as she started rushing towards Blue. But Blue didn't agree, and in pain, he got up, barking at her. It wasn't the playful bark she'd gotten used to... It was more of a ''Back off!'' bark. Nellie stood still, tears in her eyes once again. She understood what he was doing now... He'd sensed the bear before she did... This was what scratched his nose when she arrived. It was a miracle it didn't do more damage... This was why Blue kept being aggressive towards her... He wanted her to back off, or maybe even run off, so that he could fight the bear... For her. But no one in their pack had ever defeated a bear. Blue... Blue would get.... He'd... Nellie actually started crying now, and collapsed to her knees. ''Blue no! Come back, please!'' Blue just looked at her, with those beautiful stunning blue eyes Nellie named him after. She'd told him multiple times... He was a beautiful wolf, stunning. ''Blue, no one has ever defeated a wolf, you.... you'll.... Blue...'' That last one was said as she looked deep into his eyes, and he made a low, sad sound out of the depth of his throat. She got it... he wasn't coming back. Not to her. Not to the pack. He wanted to protect everyone... But who'd protect him? (Leaving some space here to give you a possibility to answer but I *would* prefer that, if possible Blue would beat the bear on his own ^^ He could also bark and be aggressive towards your pack, but he won't actually attack them he's just telling them to back off as he did with Nellie) |

She sniffed the girl's cut as she suddenly looked up to hear the bear's roars and a flash of white fly through the trees. Was he fighting that bear off in his own.? Inuk looked back over as Nellie was in complete distress and turmoil, Inuk hadn't understood yet that Blue had purposely chased her off. Inuk looked to her wolves and gave an urgent command. "Tend the girl's wound, and don't let anything happen to her for anything!." Inuk shouted sharply, before she ran swiftly to find Blue and his life's nemesis. Inuk came upon them, Blue looking as though he was a ruthless warrior, his eyes piercing the very skin of the bear, blood dripping from either opponent. Inuk wasted no time to rush towards him, ready to aid him in this fight. Chemukh and Finche now lost that sense of awkwardness and just loomed over Nellie, intent on keeping her safe. Finche pulled out various herbs from his fur and a small leather pouch tucked deep within, wasting little time before crushing them up into a paste, to get them ready for appliance. |

Blue was indeed fighting off the wolf, and he didn't even realize there were other wolves now. So when he saw what he assumed was Nellie again, he barked and growled from off the ground where he got launched, his vision blurred by the hit. That wasn't good.... But Nellie had to stay away! He shook his painful head, recovering slightly. Just to be sure, he barked and growled and snapped at the blur that had come. It hadn't occured to him that Nellie wore a bright yellow t-shirt as well as a blue-gray jeans overall, he only saw the blur and assumed it was Nellie and tried to chase her off, unaware of the lack of yellow. The bear growled as it turned around towards the wolf that had bitten his neck. Didn't really hurt tho. Thick fur covering thick skin came to its advantage. The wolf however? Yeah. That was its prey now. When it saw a human... it just went crazy. Humans were not supposed to be here. He was already annoyed by seeing wolves sometimes, but humans was the straw that broke the bear's bcak. Or whatever the saying was. So he attacked. Only to be met with this... this pathetic, small, and soon to be broken furball of white. That thing really thought he could beat *him*? Well, the bear would show him back. He'd nearly kill the wolf, then kill the girl in front of his dying eyes, and then finish off the wolf. A deep growl in his throat, the bear moved towards the wolf slowly. Yeesh. His neck itched. Right where the wolf bit him. But Blue wasn't about to give up either. He felt himself latched to that skin... He got through the fur! So Blue too, growled deeply, a rumble from deep within of him, and patted the ground with his paws as he snuck around. There was one thing he fought for through all enemies. Every single one could fight him as much as they wanted, hurt him even. But they had to follow one single rule. Leave. Nellie. Alone . And this bear? It'd just broken the rule before Blue even attacked. This bear could've gotten along his way if he'd wanted to, but instead he chose to attack the dearest thing to him. With that motivation, and a deep rumble that wasn't even a growl, something that wasn't even in his throat... No, a deep rumble from within his spirit emited as he watched the bear lose focus from him... and wade throughout Nellie. Something that never happened before.. Blue cried out. It wasn't a howl. Or a growl. It was a mix between these. Something you'd find something else than a wolf do... Maybe a fox? But it wasn't natural. (about to reveal *something* here xD) Blue's eyes lit up even, in a more blue color than they already were, and any white of his eyes vanished. His pupils nearly vanished. Then, he struck through the air, without even a leaping distance of walking to build up speed. Straight through the air, he leapt and grabbed the bear's neck, the other side. He wanted to crush, he had to crush. So he pressed his jaws... Nothing. Why wouldn't the skin break?! Stupid thick bear skin... The bear struck back by throwing his head backwards, striking the wolf's head and neck.. And then looking over his shoulder, grabbing the wolf by the neck and scruff and throwing it away. Blue yelped a little, but didn't give up. Within a matter of seconds, Blue stood up and was already harassing the bear again. This time, he was running under the bear's belly, biting paws as he went. The bear lifted its paws up and down every time he did that, but Blue was too quick. So eventually, the bear just flopped down. Blue whined. He was stuck... Digging his front paws in the ground, he tried getting out, but he was really stuck... And that wasn't even the bear's full weight, Blue realized in the hard way as the bear started crushing down on him. He whined hoarsely as the breath slowly got squeezed out of him, and he felt his ribs tightening. He had to strike back... And fast or he'd choke... Or worse, or crack his ribs... Whilst trying to hoarsely breathe, Blue tried biting down over his shoulder. What could he do, what could he do?! Nellie at this point, started panicking and ignored the wolves, trying to get up and run straight for Blue. She couldn't do anything and she knew it, but if they really wanted her to stay put... well it won't happen volunteerily, that was sure... Because she succeeded in getting up and started moving towards the bear and Blue. Meanwhile, Blue saw that. And he knew he had to deal damage quickly. He'd only annoyed the bear up until now. That had to stop. It was time for some real damage. The satchel. Blue stopped trying to get away from the bear. His breath had fully ran out by now and he coudl feel his ribs tightening. But he had to try. A few tries failed and he started panicking as his vision blurred out. But then he saw Nellie, the blur of yellow trying to move towards him. And he knew he couldn't panic. So he did whatever he could to replace the feeling of taking a deep, focusing breath. His vision sharpened a little again, and... He grabbed the satchels belt with his teeth. He pulled. Blue was free from the satchel and used this to wiggle himself from the bear. Now, there was no time for teasing anymore. Time for damage. The bear had not annoyed him, he'd done far more than that. And it was time to finish this, for once and for all. His eyes lit up some more as he let out a roar. A true roar... Like... a lion? He huffed, scraped the ground and then leapt harder than ever. Boom. He felt something crush under the pressure of his jaws in the neck, and the bear roared, lifting up his front paws and shaking his head. This time, Blue let go on his own, and landed on his paws. The bear saw this, and struck down his jaws on Blue's back, shaking him like a dog toy before throwing him away. Again, Blue whined. And he felt that he could really collapse at any moment now... The bear took use of this and stomped one of his paws after reaching him, on which Blue whined. Once again, he looked at Nellie. He could not let this happen. So he bit the bear's paws. Crack. Again, but this time the under side, the bear's toes and paw pads. Crack crack. Pop. Blood was drawn. He tasted it, it was drawn. He spit it out, got up when the bear lifted the paw and and he took use of the bear's pain. Now. Now was the time. Nellie tho, had finally gotten up and was now gonna run towards Blue, and Blue didn't realize... Becaue he was facing the bear and not Nellie... In spefifics, he was facing the bear's neck, preparing, following movements, and focusing his eyes, seeing sharper than ever the bear's exposed underside of the neck. But Nellie was getting closer, ready to reach out to Blue.... |

(....Or well maybe not so lol. I think in my lore, bears are gonna be the enemy of my pack. Much like your pack has birds as allies, mine has bears as enemies ^^. Probably because of Nellie... Hmm I should remember this for my lore. Which I haven't updated in forever and I'm already seven years behind LOOOOOL ... I have some catching up to do xD. I have 2 PLUS years of pre-pack lore, and then five years of pack lore. which'll probably be more by the time I actually reach the pack lore... Yeah) |
