Nellie and Inuk’s private RP 🦋🌲

Posted 2022-01-27 18:49:26
Inuk stood, her paws planted in the ground like heavy rocks as she stood between the battle and Nellie, Inuk looking at her, a silent plead that Blue would never forgive her if she let Nellie die.
Inuk could feel Nellie's desperation as she tried to push forward.
The sounds of growls, grunts and roars could be heard behind them, Inuk's yellow eyes peering down on Nellie, before just the same, Inuk turned abruptly to the crashing sound of flesh hitting the ground, her eyes now fixated on a large bear body limp on the forest floor. Inuk could hear a loud screech emit from Nellie, before she felt her push past her and run towards the body.
Inuk stood motionless as she instinctively, observed the bear, looking for movements. Was it dead? Had Blue emerged victorious?. Inuk wasted no time than leapt from her place as she followed Nellie to the bears body in only a few swift movements. As she stood beside the girl, she than pushed her muzzle beside her, aiding her to push the bears body to turn.

When it turned, she sighed of relief. And then gasped a little. Under it was Blue, yes, but he was bloody, wounded and not moving. ''Blue?'' she said, tearing up once again. She gently shook him. ''Blue!'' That did the trick, because as she did shake him, he yelped in pain. Ouch that hurt! He also snapped, but realized it was Nellie, and put his head down again. ''Blue...'' she said.
''Okay,'' she said, sadness in her voice. ''Please stay with me Blue, please, stay with me, stay with me...'' She gently tried to hug Blue at those words, but all he did was squeak in pain and try to struggle a bit. This made Nellie cry too. ''I'm sorry, please stay with me, please don't go... Please don't leave me, I don't know how to go on without you... Please stay!''
Then, she realized.... He was still alive. He was still alive right now in this moment. She... What was she doing? If he was still alive, she should waste no time! He was still alive, but barely, and... and she was... She couldn't even think of it, but it looked like she was begging him to stay and sort of saying goodbye...
She took a sharp breath, and started crying as she knew that this was going to hurt Blue, but she had to get him away from that bear. From that cursed bear... Why did they hate their pack so much?! She couldn't leave him there, not there.
She took a deep breath and closed her eyes as she moved up to his hind legs and grabbed them, lifting them up. Blue started squeaking, whining, yelping, all the pain sounds.... and Nellie started to cry, hard, but she didn't let that stop her. She had to do this... She had to stay strong, for Blue. But it wasn't easy, and she was about to let go as her grip weakened...
Nellie got him for away enough from the bear, around the place where she was laying when the bear had tackled her, and where the wolf tried to stop her from moving and failed. There, she put his paws down again and cried some more as the remainder of the pain was to be heard in his soft whines and squeaks. She did that... Was she even supposed to move him?! If  a human was in a car crash, and wounded, the rule was always not to move them... she panicked a little, thinking of what she could have done to him. But some blood caught her eye on the grass and she got snapped back. He was bleeding. She had to stop the bleeding.
It seemed Nellie had forgotten all about the other wolves around her, and if they'd try to get nearby, she'd do something she wasn't proud of. She wouldn't hurt them, but she'd shout at them and get a protective stance over Blue. It'd take a lot of strenght to get her away from Blue....
She took a deep breath and started working quickly, her hands flying it seemed. Did she have bandages? Yes, a few rolls of them. She knew she had Healing Salves. She always carried a lot of them and she was gonna need them.
She gently put one of those magic bones in Blue's mouth. He didn't chew down. Nellie didn't have time to stand still by that fact. She tried the Healling Salve and to smear it on his wounds, but he squeaked in pain, and she couldn't keep doing that. Besides, her hands weren't exactly doctor-clean, what if she'd infect it? The bandages were the next best thing. He'd basically look like a mummy with all those wounds, but she instead used up nearly all of her Healing Salves and bandages as she smeared them in Healing Salve. The inside of them had a golden like glow as she started to patch Blue up. All of his wounds got rolled in bandages. Unfortunatly for him, he also had one on his snout... she had started applying it, but he looked at her with the saddest eyes and she was reminded of muzzles in the human world, things dogs had to wear if they were... well, if they were mean. Blue wasn't mean. She couldn't bring herself to do it, ever. She froze, started to cry silently, her tears falling on Blue, and undid what she'd done already of the bandage. Instead, she smeared Healing Salve on it . He whined a little, but that one was not as serious as his other wounds... right?
All of his paws got bandaged too, and his entire torso was stuck in a huge bandaged mess. It wasn't really a mess, Nellie had done a surprisingly good job, but after living in the wild with wolves for years, that wasn't really odd. She'd learned tricks on how to patch up wolves and herself.
Even his tail got a bandage, because it was bleeding as well, but only a little; the main point seemed to be it was sprained. It hurt her to even think, but probably the bear stomped on it at one point when it was trying to crush Blue, and this was what hurt her to think... wagging would be a real pain for a while. She actually grinned at that, shaking her head. That'd get difficult... Especially for him. She took a deep breath tho, getting back to reality. She was done... all the bandages were applied, his wounds covered. Although some blood patches were already showing... She just hoped it'd stop the bleeding enough. She hadn't even heard Blue's reaction, if they were any on her turning and touching and flipping and patching him up.
But now she went up to his face, really close and tried petting it where it didn't hurt. ''Blue?'' She asked, in a whisper. He looked at her, and whimpered back. Then, what surprised her as she gasped, was he lifted his paws towards her shoulder. She whimpered a little herself, in pain, as her wound looked like a little mess now.. But she held it in for her sake. ''It's fine.'' She said, trying to convince him he was more important than her, but he'd never be convinced of that. Instead, he pawed the Healing Salve and bandage that were left.
''You... you want... you want more?'' she asked, but instead he nudged the stuff towards her. It hurt him to even move, but he had to do this... he had to...
''Blue,'' Nellie said, tearing up.

Somewhere during all of this, the both didn't notice the brown wolf, who was back again. ''Hey, weren't you heading-'' she started, tail high, but then it sunk as she froze, observing. Blue. Hurt. Nellie. Bleeding and crying. And then, finally... A dead bear on the ground....!
It sunk in on her. ''Ooooh no,'' she said, and she ran off again. Both Blue and Nellie didn't notice.

And Blue didn't give up either. So eventually, Nellie shook her head. She worked a lot slower on herself than she did on Blue. But before she did that, she gently pushed the bone back in his mouth again. All the Healing Salves were empty, except for this one. Empty bowls and powerless bones layed there, just for the taking. And something did want to take them. A coyote, showing up and showing a particular interest in Blue...
Nellie noticed it, and waved her hands. ''Shoo.'' she said. The coyote just growled at her, taking an aggressive stand. Blue couldn't do anything... he was helpless.... He just had to watch as this coyote threatened all that he loved.
But Nellie... Nellie wasn't as hopeless as he thought. She looked around, saw the spear that had broken appearantly when the bear threw her hard, and took the bit with the sharp stone on it. ''Shoo!!'' she repeated, stabbing it in the coyote. It squeaked in pain, then running off with the pointy spear stil in his shoulder. Nellie almost fell forwards at that. She'd thrown it, and hit it. Which was the first time ever she hit something with her spear; usually she just crafted them and stabbed with them until they broke. She didn't have time to be surprised with it for long, because Blue started whimpering. She softly smiled. ''Alright, already.'' she whispered, and she started applying the Healing Salve on her shoulder and the bandages. Then, she tightly wrapped the bandages around her shoulder. Throughout the whole thing her face showed pain, but she didn't make a sound.
That was the last of the Healing Salves...

(Oh my gosh so literally after writing this I go out to explore and I come across a bear and I beat it cuz it's a low level and luck and oh my gosh I got a bear paw. This is definitely a big achievment. Blue is too good, so I thought of him having scavenge the bear for trophies and meat, because that could feed his pack big time and they are after all in a food shortage (in real time I am now recovering from said food shortage) but then deciding to let the bear rest in peace. He'd tell Inuk take what your pack wants, but I refuse. Then walk off. I will think of it, but Blue wouldn't be one to show of such a serious battle as this one. He does love trophies, but only if the circumstances weren't as bad as this one, because he would have let the  bear go if it didn't threaten and throw Nellie xD He'd let all enemies go... Until they threaten Nellie then he turns around and will battle
Anyways, that does give me an idea; him beating another bear. I didn't lose a lot of hp in this battle actually, so he'd just proudly show up with a bunch of trophies, showing them off to Inuk. He'd tell her that he beat another bear! And this time, the injuries weren't even serious, he just... did it! And had fun doing it! He might also tell her that bears hate their pack for some reason, and he saw one, so decided to try his luck and get it away from the territory; one bear less! (It's one of his tasks to explore the area and do what's nessecary. Defeat dangerous enemies. Discover items and places. That's one of his tasks as alpha, whilst the rest goes out to scout, hunt etc) He'd have taken the trophies and tell Inuk to take what she wants, out of gratefulness that they protected Nellie from the last bear. Nellie would just be standing there really proud of Blue and smiling, because she was putting them in the hoard, but Blue insisted on keeping them in his satchel and going to the SalmonStone's territory LOL)

Inuk lifted her head from against the bears heavy body as it landed harshly to the other side. She looked up now as Nellie scampered towards Blue's motionless body from underneath the bears weight. There he was, almost to death's door yet still breathing, and still victorious. Inuk wanted to move in closer, to examine his body and see what she could do, he was still alive and needed serious attention from an herbalist.. but it seemed the whole situation had been taken over by Nellie, the minute the bear's body had fallen limp.
Inuk almost watched in disbelief as almost immediately the girl had taken him by the legs, and dragged him away from where he layed in his pool of blood.
Inuk had leapt up, eager to sniff out his injuries and fetch Finche and Chemukh, but as she approached his body with the grieving girl, Inuk stopped abruptly as Nellie now had the same posture,
the same expression as when Dantigo had protected her all that time ago.
Now she was here, protective over her "pup." the wolf she'd raised.
Inuk was taken back by it, she didn't get how a human could have any of these kinship instincts. But it would never be worth to challenge her, nor attempt to pull her away from him.
The girl had begun reaching for items from her own satchel, strange items Inuk could only associate with humans, but were similar to some things wolves practiced in herbalism with cobwebs and reeds to wrap around wounds.
Inuk stared longingly from some distance away. Could this girl take care of him just as properly as a wolf herbalist?.
Inuk wasn't exactly keen on letting her handle all the work, but what was she to do other than let her pour her emotions into him.
As Inuk observed closely, the other two wolves now stepped forward, directly behind their leader resembling a battle formation with no aggression.
They watched. Especially Chemukh, who now observed every moment of this, her blood-hued eyes darkened as she peered down at the girl and Blue's body.
The three wolves stood motionless as Blue gradually become secluded inside this white wraps of material. Were these effective?. They looked as though they limited his movement. Inuk watched as the girl with no hesitation or break, tended to him and his wounds hastily, places salves anywhere she could.
Finche only watched in sheer worry and concern in her practices, as he skiddishly ran off to search for "wolf materials" just in case.
Chemukh now walked slowly in a circle as she rested herself on the rocky ground, still watching.
Inuk's eyes were fixated on the two, not before just the same as Nellie,
turned her ears to the sound of a growling coyote. What bold and foolish of a coyote to come strolling upon four wolves, a human and a dead bear?.
Inuk's tail irked with annoyance and aggression as she peered at it angerly.
Before she rose up to chase the brute off, a silver white flash had pierced the air and latched itself inside the canine, sending it barreling off in pain.
Inuk stood in confusion, as she looked over to Nellie watching it run off, than unbotheredly turn back to Blue.
Inuk was..almost appalled..the spear had flashed in her mind as though almost resembling a thunder pellet. The girl had first hurdled herself into battle, ran to his bloodied body and claimed it, did so with a bleeding shoulder herself, and now took it upon herself to chase off the coyote on her own?.
Inuk was jittered that she could not help, she could not offer her assistance to these allies. She felt helpless watching the girl tend to Blue's mangled body.
She was witnessing an unbroken, welded bond. One that almost didn't look like human and wolf, but human and dog..Inuk wasn't sure what to think. Could a human caretaker turn a wolf into a dog?
Inuk was run with thoughts, as she by habit leapt upon the tall peak, peering down to them. Now, she'd simply had to wait until Blue was able enough to rise to his paws, surely the girl couldn't carry him all the way home.
Inuk swayed her tail as a signal to her wolves, to continue preparations for home. Inuk rested upon the rock, fixated on the two.

(CONGRATULATIONS on your first bear trophy, Blue must be feeling very empowered rn lol. To defeat a most rivaled enemy.
Than get beaten once again
Inuk would be very proud of him if he came back with tokens of his victories, especially against Blues sworn enemies. I definitely agree in the sense that Inuk views trophies in the same way. Not as "ha! I'm stronger and now you're weak and dead" lol, but as a symbol of her being able to defend her territory and than honour the enemies life by keeping a part of their body.
His tasks sound very reasonable.
And if he came to her with his gratitude of the battle and showing her his trophies, Inuk would honour him in a very special way.
(If you look on my den page, you'll notice I have a picture of a cave with paintings on it, and if you look close, there is a painting of a wolf fighting a bear. I wonder who that could be ;) )

(I also feel that Inuk views him as like- a younger brother??
and that's due to his very loving and excitable nature, and her watching him get into all sorts of drama lmao)

(He'll give it to her LOL
For him, trophies are more of a 'fun' thing. If he gets them, he most likely uses them as decoration or plays around with it. He doesn't really think about it all that much, but weak as he is he'll leave this bear there, and most likely come back when he's stronger again (and before the body is starting to go away) and decide to just leave it there in peace. He might even try to get it to a place where it'll be left alone. He knows that this could feed his pack for at least a day or two, and he knows that there's a lot of trophies on that body, but he decides that, since he wasn't planning on attacking anyways, until the bear threatened Nellie. Then, he went a little crazy LOL
Also, I feel like Inuk doesn't fully trust Nellie yet; but rest assured, he is still a wolf he still hunts, eats meat and she tries to provide for him the best she can. And Nellie will always respect that. Though if she goes into the human world, she sometimes has to pose him as a ''wolfdog, it's a hybrid. It's totally legal, it's not 98 percent wolf! It just... looks like it is!'' even tho its definitely a hundred percent wolf LOL. Which gives me an idea of Inuk having no choice but to go to a human den and then she needs to put a leash on Inuk? She'll ask Inuk to trust her, it just HAS to happen so that people won't suspect she's a wolf. She knows Inuk will probably hate it but she promises, this is to get her back to the wild without people endangering Inuk; like an undercover transfer mission. To prove her trustworthy, an old lady from Nellie's past will show up and threaten Inuk. Because she knows Inuk is a wolf (Nellie is the 'wolf girl that's always hanging around with wolves endangering the community and being a hazard to the community' according to this lady) BUT this time Nellie stands strong, DOES NOT lose her cool like last time (she kind of lost control, turned into the Winged Wolf and nearly killed this lady because she was mistreating her dog; said dog has a lovely home with her nephew now who talked Nellie down and back into the real world, then took her in and spend two years getting angry at Danté, thus making him the wolf he is today which is NOT what he used to be-I have talked way too much. How did I get from a bear trophy to HERE lol. Anyways, after two years they said goodbye, he's really helped her, and now she's here, they still see each other form time to time. And this time Nellie will stand in front of Inuk, protect her and go ''No, it's a dog. It's allowed. Go ask Jack (her newphew), he allowed this DOG into HIS house. There's nothing you can do, and you know it, so step aside.'' And to enpower herself, WITHOUT losing her cool (which is very impressive for her) her eyes glow silver then without anyone else being able to see (she was careful that no one was around) and she says ''Unless you want to meet Danté again.'' The lady gets scared and literally runs off LOL, and her eyes go back to normal, she takes Inuk tot he wild and tadaaa that's that.

AHEM.
I think he'll take a bear trophy, and get to Inuk. The bear trophy I got was a black bear paw, so he'll put it down in front of her with a small bow. He may tell her he remembered the tale of how they beat a bear, took his trophy and now a bear paw was hanging above their den, so he took another paw for her as gratitude for her protecting Nellie. He'd also probably go trophy hunting, decorate his own, temporary den and then go and invite the whole pack (or whoever she wants to take) to the den and honor them in the best way he can.

Ooh, is it Inuk fighting the bear of the paw she mentioned? :D

Djdjdjd that is so wholesome, and Blue is just so naive he doesn't notice LOL. As for watching him get into drama, imagine Inuk watching from the woods (there's  awoods a few meters away from the old lady's house) and doing his best dog impression as Nellie just stands up to the lady and let's her eyes become silver, and as the lady is terrified (she deserves it tho, she's *mean*) she just calmly continues her walk xD. She even took Blue off the leash just to tease the lady, who doesn't know how fast to get inside her house anymore.
A few meters away a white haired guy just stands, looking proud and amused, before going back into his own house.)

Inuk didn't need to worry; Nellie was sure to take care of that it didn't limit his movement. She didn't really notice Inuk's feelings. And she didn't need to worry about the thunder sticks either; Nellie hated them, and soon, she'd come to fear them just as much as Inuk did, if not worse. She had no idea about that now, but she still hated them and had never used one to hunt. Instead, she stuck to small knives for battle and spears for hunting. She didn't usually throw them, more likely to just craft one and use it to jab at her prey. And she would never, ever, use one of the thunder sticks, one which the wolves in her pack knew as the word 'gun' which shot 'bullets'.
Nellie looked once more at the body of the bear, and could feel her stomach turn. That was Blue's blood?! Oh my gosh.... She looked away, back to Blue. He was a wolf, and had always been a wolf, and she'd respect that. If they went out to the human world, however, Blue had to pose as a wolfdog. A dog with lots of wolf blood in him, but still legally considered a dog. That's what she needed; legally. So that legally, no one could take Blue away from her. Still tho, she feared the day one would press the matter and Blue would have to be tested for DNA. DNA didn't lie...
Nellie didn't really know what to do next; Blue was better. Or well, best he could be. Her shoulder was patched up. Everything was empty. Blue was laying there, whining softly.
However, if the wolves were to try something now, she'd probably let them, given that they were careful and included her. She really wanted Blue to just go home, but if he'd lost that much blood...
If a human lost a lot of blood, there were blood donors that donated their own, and if you were a match, you could recieve that blood. It could save lives. But that sort of thing probably didn't even exist for wolves; what was she gonna do, carry him to the nearest vet office and go 'please help my illegal wolf, I live in the wild and have no blood donors'? She couldn't do that, it would be impossible. And it was too... too much, to just gather up his blood and put it back in. Besides, she couldn't do that; she had no, what was it called, IV? She had no needle and bag, and the blood layed on the ground; she'd probably grab some bear blood, fur, leaves, grass and dirt along the way, and that'd certainly make it worse, if not kill him. And she had no medical training; she'd taught herself to patch up wolves and her own wounds. Living in the wild would do that to you...
She sighed, closing her eyes. Unbeknownst to her, it seemed that Inuk was right; there was nothing left to do but see if he pulled it through. And even then, could she even move him? It wasn't like she 'claimed' him, if the other wolves would have wanted to, and were careful to try and let her know what they were gonna do, she'd let them help. But there was a language barrier between them... That couldn't be helped. Or so she thought, she'd think differently in the future....
But point was and remained, she could do nothing more than this, and the wolves were always allowed to help if she was included. She didn't need to take the whole thing over, of course, but being included was enough for her; just knowing slightly what they were gonna do. Apply salves? Do a ritual? Bandages? She really didn't need to take over the whole thing, she just wanted to know what was happening to her friend.
And so, Nellie sat there, helpless herself, as Blue's breathing was weak, and his soft whining was so , too. She closed her eyes, trying to keep herself calm, nothing more to do than wait and see if he pulled through... She was helpless.

(I do like that sense of moral from Blue^^ it's quite cute, and definitely fits him as well as the pack he's in. Not feeding from the body because it wasn't hunted for that purpose, that's a cool concept. :) I think although she would handle it a little different, she would definitely respect that from him.
Also- I might've made Inuk sound a BIT too uncertain/distrusting lol,
but she's most likely like this right now, simply because of the situation, with Blue half dead on the floor lmao. She's quite the worrier, and always trying to figure out the best course of action, so she'd just be watching Nellie all restless and being like- was he a dog??? Just all overwhelmed lol.
As for her going into the human dens with Nellie, Although she would not enjoy acting like a dog, she'd probably be happy to stay undercover, thinking that she'd be helping to make these humans attack wolves less, so she'd tolerate a leash with Nellie, knowing she'd soon be out in the woods again lol. I feel the moment that Nellie takes the leash off her, it will be a good moment of trust for her.
(That would also be cool to see Nellie mind-f*ck with that old lady lmao, chasing her away from causing more havoc for them.
Inuk would probably put on a "poodle" attitude in front of the lady lmao)

(Inuk would definitely bring half her pack to come celebrate Blues' trophies and such, and if he placed it infront of her, she'd definitely have a special place for it. (While also adding to her paintingggggss)
She'd probably feel very honoured by him, and just start a whole howl lol probably bring Blue some gifts for a feast or for him and Nellie.)

(The painting is actually meant to be Blue and his bear!)
