Inuk shook her head as Blue was apologetic for the bird carcasses.."it's quite alright Blue, my pack does indeed think of birds as scared and we often have friendships with them, but we are not oppose to having some as prey at times.. we have to eat after all..but we do honour them after death. sometimes we will make peace with them and give them things in return for some of their eggs and such. We just don't hunt any that we've made friends with. Only ones we find out alone." "I have no say in what your pack thinks of them, so it's alright. Although, when we arrive home, you might meet a few flying around my pack's wolves." She smiled. As long as you don't eat them, everything is fine.." she turned her attention back to him as he answered her question..and she watched him circle Nellie attempting to find one. I suppose that meant she didn't have one now, as Inuk could not smell one either. They had a very strong and sharp odour.. she shook her head. "you've never heard of them?, or seen them?" Inuk looked to him as he was trying to decipher what it was. "No, not the sharp stick..or her little blade either..we call them thunder sticks because when they are used, a huge loud noise cracks the air, almost like thunder when it's storming. Sometimes you'll find small metal pebbles on the ground where the noise came from.. and they reek of the smell of them.. smokey and sharp.. have you ever been around a human's farmland?..sometimes if you get too close.. you'll hear one pierce the air.." "what about that other human you were talking about?.." |

After what felt like minutes of thinking, his eyes widened. ''Oh! Nellie got shot by one of those...''Â He whined a little at the thought. ''She doesn't have them, and neither does the other human. Jack, I believe, is his name. And then there are OTHER humans, and they do have them.... they're the ones that shot Nellie! It was really bad from what I heard, but luckily Flutter was there, and Flutter saved Nellie from what you call the thunder! If she wasn't there...'' he whined again, his ears lowering. ''...Well, I wouldn't wanna know what would've happened then. She was bleeding very bad, and that's when Flutter used sage and did the howling ceremony, and she healed and now they use sage when her spiritual energies are low.'' Then, he looked away up further into the mountains. ''I... I think I did get too close to human lands once... I.. I got...'' he shook his head a bit furiously. ''But anyway... Birds... Ha...'' Nellie somehow seemed to understand what they were talking about, because Flutter... well Flutter came back with one of the metal stuff. ''Uhm,'' she said, very stressed, trying to reach it out to Inuk. ''....I think we should go... now...'' Her voice sounded different, it seemed to crack (is that the right word I thought I'd throw in some drama) when she spoke. |

She tilted her head as he mentioned something of him encountering human land.. but she didn't ask further as it sounded like it was a difficult subject for him.."well, I'm glad either way." Inuk turned her attention as Nellie and Flutterfoot came up, looking rather sudden and serious. Inuk looked over as Nellie reached out to her, and Flutter was holding..she was holding one of the thunder's metal pebbles..Inuk quickly turned to Blue. "I think We have to go; and we have to go now" she spoke abruptly, heading their concern. She nodded to Nellie and Flutterfoot than quickly shot up and nudged Nellie and Blue with her muzzle, quietly trying to get out of there, fast. Inuk ran over to Flutterfoot and stood behind her. "This time, you're definitely not getting left behind" Inuk said sharply and worried, "let us get out of here fast.."Â she stayed beside Flutter, attempting to have the elder move as fast as she could. |

Flutter whined, but she still trotted back to the den. ''Okay!'' She said, kind of submitting to Inuk's will, and she stood up and walked. Blue whimpered. Huh? This was all a little fast paced for him... Was this one of those human things? Nellie turned to him. ''Well, it could just be a lone hunter... But...'' She hesitated. ''...I think they found us. Danté was right for wanting to move the pack.'' She took a deep breath. ''The Forest is not ideal... but these wolves can't handle cold well and we can't move up... Our Hunters are too weak for the Taiga... Grasslands would be the only thing I can think of, unless we wanna go with dry and very hot.'' She stopped talking when she realized that she was just listing the traits of her pack. It was true. These wolves were used to habitate moderate climates. The three biomes they discovered first were perfect with that, and the Mountains had a lot of caves, so when they found this den, all they had to do was dig only a little and they were done. It was hard work for sure, but not as hard work as it woudl be in the Forest, especially with... Well, Inuk was right. Nellie wasn't the only human, and she loved the Deciduous Forest, but she didn't really live there for a reason... Blue awkwardly spoke up again. ''....yeah from what I know they did do it on purpose. Nellie uhm... Well she had something of theirs and she was trying to get it away... Plus, they were after her as well. They uh.. they still are... are we really moving the pack??'' He said. Then, he attempted to lighten the mood. ''Ha... birds.. I'll uh... I'll try to remember. Yeah. Or not to chase them. Aren't... arent- wouldn't birds just be scared of me tho? All animals are really scared of Nellie...'' |

"Tell Nellie, if the forest is to risky, you're welcome to come back with us to the taiga for a while.. we can provide you food until you move to the forest, but anyways, let's get going!" She nodded her head, Nudged him to follow Nellie, and she was ready to run off as fast as she could to get the others. |

Blue's ears lowered. ''Oh... Well, my sister will move the pack, so no worries about that, but thanks. We've been waiting way too long, their not even after those other wolves, rather than after Nellie, and we've been holding you up for forever, so I feel safe with going now. I don't think they'd go after Nellie immediatly, and we were thinking about moving anyways. Just don't want to take the chance that this is not a lone hunter. But thank you, I'll just come with you, and I'll take Nellie with me.'' With that, he grabbed a loose bit of cloth from Nellie and started pulling, to say he was ready to go. ''Right,'' she said, as she stopped pacing. ''It's not ideal not having Flutter there, but... Hm,'' she concluded, and followed Blue as he walked forwards and then waited for Inuk to come and show them the way. ''Maybe a ceremony?'' she muttered, as a suggestion for the ally. Yes, that'd be good, they could all howl to the moon together. She told herself, to try and calm down, that this would just be to get the info, see if anyone agreed, all the theory stuff. Talk. Preare, answer questions... |
