I add one half, one quarter, and one sixth to find that the total is a fraction of x/12 (2+4+6=12). You can also think about it as 6/12, 3/12, or 2/12, which then would equal 11/12. If the remainder is $1,000, that must be 1/12 of the total. This means that the total is $12,000. 		⚡Thunder_ALPHA⚡
