A Leader's Questions...

Scathos stepped forward tentatively, ears lowering in a moment of indecision and nerves. The aging male sighed after a moment, then spoke. "It is my belief that the land where the Lunar event takes place is the place in between. A Place where the gods wander. I once described it to our pack sage and was disturbed to find that she often went there to speak to our gods." He swallowed. "I'm under the belief that one god, or perhaps many gods from different religions, came together to create the Lunar lands, so they could speak with the few mortals that are able to walk into the land."

Heaving a sigh, the silver muzzled male glanced around, grumbling under his breath. His eyes narrowed in on one wolf in particular. "If you ever decided to change the name of your pack, what would it be?"

Tamarin's fur bristled as if she was attacked by the wolf. She sat upright and stared at him, eyes widened and adopting a wild look, almost challenging him to a fight. Her hackles were raised and fur bristled. She looked like a rabid wolf, ready to attack without warning. 

"I believe the Rainborn is a nice enough name, Scathos. I dearly apologize for it not pleasing you." Her voice was unapologetic, threatening, even.

"We are the rain that brings new life, stronger than the unforgiving rapids yet gentler than calm lakes. We are the Rainborn, going through hardships of seeping through stone to reach saplings, yet we emerge unscathed, assisting others during their darkest times again yet again, bringing new life. Bringing hope. It means what we strive to be." Unwavering pride could be heard in her voice. 

She made a point to not look at him as she indicated for another wolf to speak. "What do you think about assisting packless wolves in need?" She looked like if the wolf dared to even think about the word "no", she would tear them to tiny pieces. 

(This is much worse than I expected)

Aced gulped at the sharp stare. Tip was close by, mostly to assist the speech. “I give them food, water, and wish them the best of travels. Older wolves get to stay, as elders shouldnt freeze in the next winters and fall.” He gave his chest a few licks nervously before adverting his eyes to the next. “What do you pride yourself about your pack?” He shuffled into a sit.

Upon hearing this question, Zara aburptly stood up:

,,As our pack's name suggests, we are Space Shifters. You could describe us as Time-Leaping, Dimension-Traviling, Shape-Shifters. Also, we put our pride in the amount of Force that one has, for Force is not Mana or Magic. It is the first energy of my spiecies and our brotherly branch - Inforcers. 

Also, our pack has a spesific relationship proccess - we call our soulmates Oppossites. This is because our lovers are the closest to us, so they know us to the core and thus are able to fill in the cracks with their own soecial life-given capabilieties."

,,Oh, look at me borring ya all to death! Onto the next question - what is the most important symbol to your pack and why?"

"The bear," replied Bjorn coolly, her eyes level with the other leaders. "The great bear from above brought us all, and to the great bear we all return. That is why I am Bjorn, as was my foremothers before me. Bears are the ultimate mother, loyal, strong and courageous, fighting to the last breath to keep her brood strong. I too, do the same."

She blinked, warm amber eyes grazing the other leaders before her, finally landing on the next to answer.

"How do you feel about males in the pack?" she asked, lip curled.

Tip took the lead this time, with a rather grim look as Aced shuffled back, silent as his mate spoke. “We have our ways to ensure we dont have too many males in our pack. We rather have females, but if it can hunt, it can stay.” She spook, a silver lining to her sweet voice. She cleared her throat.

“What is your packs biggest achievement?”

Tamarin was laying down on the cool grass, but sat upright to answer the question directed towards her. She shifted, looking uncomfortable, her ears flattened, tail pointing to the side, flicking nervously. 

She answered reluctantly.

"Being a pack in the first place. The Rainborn started as more of a community of the nomadic and packless, where they assisted and protected each other. Everyone came and went as they pleased. Until eventually, conflicts started to stem, cliques forming and turning against each other. Most left after seeing what the Rainborn crumbled into, but the few that stayed were on the brink of a full on war." She looked embarrassed, talking about her pack's dark history in front of the other lead wolves. 

"Until a traveling wolf, Auriol, saw the state the Rainborn was in. She felt that it was such a waste of such a meaningful name, of the potential of what the Rainborn could be, so she stepped in. But not to negotiate peace, but to fan the flames and ignite a war. She watched on as the Rainborn fractured as territory was claimed here and there, as the Rainborn turned from a refuge to a place of needless bloodshed "

She paused before continuing, "after the Rainborn was too tired and broken to fight with each other or bother to fix the pack, Auriol assumed the role of a lead wolf. She had observed each wolf's personality and wants and weaknesses, and used them to slowly pull the pack back together. She announced the Rainborn as a true pack, giving the pack name a true meaning." Her voice was a mix of shame and pride. 

She stood up and shook her fur as if shaking off water before stretching and laying back down. She turned towards the closest wolf to her. "What story have been passed down for generations in your pack?"

"What led you to becoming leader within your pack?"

White Wind looks slightly uncomfortable at the question, her tail flicking back and forth as she closes her eyes tightly. When she opens them, she seems to have gathered enough confidence to answer.

"My previous pack was wiped out by a plague and I was one of three survivors who hadn't fled, along with Snow Scout and Sky Dancer."

She quickly changes the topic, turning to the next leader. "What is the most important law within your pack, if you have any?"
