• Vdgshfhdn grew up, Zephyr’s nesting, and Drucks had three pups! …Only one actually inherited gray smoke, none of them have white shaded, and so that’s gonna have to be a triple yeet for me. As expected, really :V They’re all being treated to a personal pupsitter anyway, just so I can stop seeing those damn proficiency loss rollover notifications, but they’ll be on the TC at the first opportunity.
• Oh hey, Vkeysmash being a Fresh New Adult means she’s in heat now 👀 Avoiding inbreeding could potennnntially be A Problem later down the line, if there continue to be only 2 3 slot 1 Gray Smoke studs on the entire website, but what the hell it’d make sense for a lethal project anyway. Stud request sent, regardless \o/
• also I do not remember if I noted the latest stud request in my money sink project hell cost sheet, should do that. I am also once again reminding myself to update the icons.

• Woohoo, new lunar event tomorrow \o/ …God. Shit. I forgot to factor event markings into the LT total for proper hoarding. I think I’ll hold off on buying anything until the verrrry end and see how my totals stack up; it’d be nice to have some stock for next round because April’s edition basically lines up with finals season.
• In general I think I just need to focus on base+eye applicators, since those look nicest in the hoard, and everything else will have to depend on that season’s haul. Man, having an absolute deluge of event items is a blessing in disguise tbh if it gets me to shake off my “must hoard one of EVERYTHING” ways…
  

Day 150 2021/03/19 

• Summer begins, and Zephyr had four pups! :O …Three honeydews and a glaucous, this green base haunts meeeee. They’re all just short of 400 stats, too. Was gonna say I’ll keep the highesr-stat pup but tfw three of four also have the exact same total (394), what’re the odds.
• That said, firstborn’s got the best speed/agility so if I keep anyone it’ll be that one. Could also go off the rails and swap or buy another ~400-stat chaser pup. Regardless, if anyone wants dibs on any of ‘em, now’s the time because I’ll have ‘em on the TC and sales post once they wean ;V

• melabean got ear mites, because apparently those exist in the glacier. You are not immune to parasites dot jpeg. Cured!

Day 151 2021/03/20

• Two levelups and an illness (cough on Wickfen), that’s a semi-eventful rollover!
• Cycles  is in heat again, and you know what that means. Stud request sent!
• Anyway I completely forgot to explore for the event yesterday, although I got some LE from idle daytime exploring. Should probably use some of that today lest the rollover addition max out, but it looks like it’s gonna be a busy weekend so don’t expect much.

Day 152 2021/03/21

• TFW I was never on Wolvden at onsite night… Anyway, nested Vdjshfjdsbn, and Shrike got distemper over rollover. Have a cure though we gud.
• In other news Diorite is basically starving since I don’t feed him normally and no explore = no food from encounters, oops. Sorry, buddy. Soon.
• honestly though all these little to-dos are starting to stress me out, might take a break after Diorite dies but then what if I don’t get around to coming back aaaaa
• ^I do not think this is actually going to happen for the record. As soon as the semester calms down I am back in business >:V Just been wanting to prioritize my own stuff in my free time lately y’feel

• HM you know what I simply think at this point I will admit I am not feeling the event this round, or at least not these first few days of it, and skip :V Still got three days left not including today but yeah Wolvden has fallen significantly down the (hypothetical) priority list lately. Ah well, got the base, that’s the Big Thing.
• Anyway Vrdhsbn had not two not three but five pups o_o Alas none of them inherited the markings I need in the right slots (Gray Smoke needs to be in the first; I totally didn’t notice the dad had it twice in both the first and ninth slots), although the last one’s an Ebony which I think is the first time I’ve ever bred a Tier II? Nice.
• Made Vdhsbdnshdbsn a pupsitter just for that ebony pup since he probably has the best chance of selling, but otherwise I Am Once Again Yeeting Everyone. Dibs, anyone? Previews coming later today I think probably maybe I swear "OTL
• Oh yeah, 7bil has also gotta go, because I very much miscalculated those ages; she grows up in a couple rollovers and unless Andesite dies young (which I am not doing manually), well, F. Y’all’re welcome to call dibs on her too if you’d like ;V
• Oh yeah x2, unrelated to all that: topped a weekly fishing leaderboard with an extremely heavy tadpole madlad madtom, at the truly cowering weight of 0.48oz. I didn’t think I’d even fished at all lately, but that’s cool. Sometimes absently turning in the little guys pays off, ig!

• Mange on Liesl? Mange on Liesl via scout. Cured. Also I will probably be dumping the pup previews in a separate post entirely since I know it’s gonna get long.

• ALL RIGHT made the next post even though it has nothing but blatant shilling (for my own sales post) on it for now, and added the latest pup batch to the spreadsheet. Now I need to go Do Things with my life again.

• Drucks’ pups weaned and will be going on the TC in short order! Also god help me I will add the previews right now immediately,,
• In other news, had to dig into a large carcass today; not checking Wolvden as much = not recalling or sending out new hunts so frequently = rarely if ever using the entire energy bar in Explore = not bringing in as much food, so that’s new. This is not a call for gifts I have plenty in stock still, I just tend to sell large carcasses on the TC and yeet smaller ones to the raccoon since I get ≥1SC per use at those sizes; 8 uses is the happy medium where selling to the raccoon ain’t worth it and there’s usually too much on the TC to reasonably sell within the day, so I use those for food. Except when I run out.

• Hmm, adding the pups now and yeah lbr the only one who has a chance of selling is the gray smoke marengo lad. Soon as I’m done with all this and some spreadsheet updates, yeeting sneaky chestnut and dutiful creamdarker.
• Zephyr’s quartet can all stick around, since with almost 400 stats they have a fair chance of selling even if they look funky and have one of the most unpopular bases. If I keep any it’ll be one of the first two, lazy or helpful; personalities aside, their chasing stat averages are the same, so it’s really only a matter of whether I want a male or female. Might RNG it if neither sell; otherwise I’ll leave it up to the hypothetical buyers.
  • lazy has more markings and I thiiink people prefer females for ease of breeding, so my bets are on her being sold if either. I’m indifferent tbh; stats gotta be bred down, but I can always customize markings.
• -wipes sweat off brow- Done. And with that, chased the aforementioned two. All of Vrdhsbn’s litter have at least one breed-only mark; ebony probably has the highest chance of being sold thanks to being a Tier 2, but overall it’s ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

• Some nice numbers on Carcass as of this level-up: 606 total, 77STR, 202WIS, and 171SMA. I Just Think That’s Neat!

• 7bil and vulgar cream grew up and yeeted, and Zephyr’s pups weaned. Also had not one but three wolves level up this rollover, nice.
• Last post was pretty short but on account of the pup preview x3 combo I’ll probably be making a new post each day for the rest of this page.
• Agenda later is putting those honeydew pups up for sale. I kinda flailed a lot last round with Andesite’s pups, since I am not used to having actual interest, so I think this time I’ll just set a highish TC buyout but note both on the trade and thread I’ll accept the first fair offer. Leaving “fair” ambiguous though since I won’t be super inclined to take like, 10SC. Non-leaderboard ~400-stat pups are hard to come by, which I realized after browsing the TC myself the other day >:V

• Ayyy, Liesl at lvl19 >:3c She’ll be closer than I thought! A very respectable 722 stats, too; if she hits 800+ by lvl20 that’d be baller.
  
• Got surrounded and nuked by a lvl16 timber wolf pack back at the mountains in pursuit of the quest, F. Cool flavor text! Still murder. Managed to take down one of them, though, so that was neat.
  

Day 156 2021/03/25

• Wow, Wolvden really said “good morning! You made the daily fishing leaderboard with a measly (but maxed-out) 67lb 9.45oz haul, for the #10 spot and a whopping 5 SC, Andesite fucking died, and lol Diorite is also kicking the bucket in 11 days.” It’s the final countdown.
• But really. Geez. That was… young 8( Went out with a very respectable 810 stats, a 96-stat(!!) difference from when she hit level 20. Survived by nine pups total, four of whom are still onsite: Husk and Shrike, of course, and two more pups from the last litter.
• And with that, Diorite is the only wolf left of the founding six. F. He’s probably not taking this well, when he remembers she’s gone at all.

• . . . quietly reclaims 7bil because now I have the space lmao. TIL if a runaway wolf is gone for a rollover, they’ll come back at 1 year exactly anyway. This also means she’s in heat, and—holy shit, there juuuust happens to be a stud available with gray smoke in slot 1 and white shaded in slot 9 (the one marking 7bil doesn’t have). Welcome back, go have pups.
  • later edit: uhhh wait I miscalculated, I didn’t need to change her base age in the spreadsheet at all?? I thought I’d have to since she would technically have grown up yesterday but. w/e ig it works out that’s what counts
    

• But anyway. Since having one (1) leader with absolutely no help continues to make no sense in-lore, I’m gonna say this is when Carcass and Liesl really step up. Both founders have been getting old for a while, quite obviously, but Andesite’s death was still fairly sudden because it was to me irl, that is how things work here. She didn’t quite get to give Liesl any final blessings or similar, so the oft-discussed plan of Carcass being lead with Liesl as second-in-command, and both giving a council setup a test run, is now enacted.
• This is easier in practice on some days than others, primarily because every other day they have to remind Diorite what’s going on. In his more lucid moments they have his approval at least. He says Andesite would be proud of them all too, the entire pack, and promptly forgets who Andesite is.
• Anyway. State of the pack, first day of autumn in year $lostTrack; it is with a heavy heart I change “Lead Diorite and Co-Lead Andesite deserve equal credit” to:

• As a last note for the night, had one last chance to explore for this event, and got the Tala encounter in the mountains >:0 Or uh, “Tala”; result was the coyote tail, implying the whole thing was a trick. You don’t just play tricks on a senile old dog, have some decency. …But for real, hmm, mayhaps I’ll use that in lore somehow.
• Geez, does she just show up in his dreams again after 8000 years like “time’s almost up! you have 11 rollovers remaining” “wtf is a rollover???”? Rude. But it would be something of a bookend, which are ends I’m a sucker for. Something something it doesn’t matter in the end where he came from or why he’s here anyway, because he had An Impact, he really did found a pack, and they’ll go on without him and that’s a good legacy and all that sentimental jazz.
• Honestly I wanna do something to honor the founders at some point—some prose? doodle series? both??—but for Time and also perfectionism reasons, I make no promises.
