Twelve total kinds of carcasses. 3 are single-use critters, 9 are four-use critters. While sixty critter bundles isn't a huge sample, I do feel fairly confident in saying that it's unlikely that there are any other kinds of carcass that could be found in the bundles. As you can see from the data, there are occasions where no carcasses of a given kind were dropped, (Batch 2, for instance, had no pheasants or weasels) every kind of carcass represented dropped in at least three of the six ten-bundle batches. By the numbers: (Carcass/Number of Drops out of 148/Percentage dropped, rounded to nearest tenth) Rabbit / 24 / 16.2% Hare / 14 / 9.5% Quail / 13 / 8.8% Opossum / 13 / 8.8% Pheasant Rooster / 13 / 8.8% Rat / 12 / 8.1% Gull / 12 / 8.1% Grouse / 11 / 7.4% Agouti / 11 / 7.4% Stoat / 11 / 7.4% Weasel / 8 / 5.4% Muskrat / 6 / 4.1% Seemingly you have a very small chance of getting any particular animal from the critter bundle, meaning that if you are doing what I did and using them to get carcasses for a snake quest, you're better off opening a bunch. If you only have a few, it's probably best not to even try unless you are desperate. Single-use food (rat, stoat, weasel): 31, or 20.9% of carcasses dropped Four-use food (all other drops): 117, or 79.1% of carcasses dropped I got 499 uses of food from sixty bundles. If one were to buy critter bundles from the raccoon, at a cost of 80 silver per bundle, this would mean that the food cost about 9.6 silver per food use. This means you are almost always better off buying food from the TC if you are buying in silver. Theoretically, if you could reliably get critter bundles from the slots (all mine are from slots) then they cost only 10 sc each, meaning the food costs 1.2 sc per use. Of course, in reality, you often lose at slots or win other prizes. Edit made on Aug 6 2023 Stoats are now 3 use items. IF all other variables remained the same (and I can't say if they have) then the bundles I opened, if I got the exact same contents today, would have provided me with an additional 22 uses of food (an extra 2 per stoat.) This means that the total number of food uses would be 521. Therefore, the true cost of the food could now hypothetically be as low as 9.2 sc per use, but I have not tested this |
