Hierarchy 

Alpha ;; Unlike most packs, Sombra is led by an Alpha female and her mate. The role of Alpha will be passed down to a female descendent or a female of the current Alpha's choice if a female heir is not provided. That female may the take a mate of her choice from in or outside of the pack to keep the genetic diversity. Current Alpha - Tempestade
Alpha's Mate ;; Occasionally referred to as the Alpha Male or just "Mate", the mate of the Alpha holds more of an advisory role to the pack, thought often the way the pack regards them depends on their personality. Current Alpha's Mate - Ceo
Lead Hunter ;; Generally the oldest wolf on the hunt, they have the most experience and know the territory best, meaning they know where prey tends to be the most. More often than not they are also one of the better trackers, though this is not necessarily a requirement in this role. Next to the Alpha, Lead Hunter tends to have a lot of respect amongst the pack as  they keep everyone fed and are often seen as very wise for their knowledge on prey, tracking, and the territory. Hunters ;; As the name suggests, these are the hunters who follow the Lead Hunter when stalking prey and hunting. They usually don't have as much experience as the Lead, but since they keep the pack fed and are constantly on the move through the territory they also have earned the respect of the pack. Scouts ;; Usually these wolves tend to have more of a wandering spirit, but they keep their loyalties to the pack. They scout around the pack's territory, keeping an eye out for other packs that have settled near their territory and exploring new lands so that they may extend their territory or, if it comes down to it, they know of a safe place for the pack to move if they must. They carry a mysterious air about them that most pack members regard them cautiously. They report directly to the Alpha, and she will relay pertinent information to the rest of the pack if necessary.  Current Scouts - Ceo, Escuridade
Pupsitters ;; Pupsitters are beloved by all the pack members as they helped raise and protect most members within the pack. They watch and protect the pups of the females who are either out hunting or scouting territory, making sure the future of the pack is safe. They often are avid story tellers and have kind personalities. Current Pupsitters - Sol, Carballo
Healers ;; Next to the Alpha, this individual is the next highest regarded individual. They are seen as the most spiritual, using herbs to heal ailments and their spiritual abilities to communicate with their ancestors. Every pack has a Healer of some sort, and those that don't are often seen as weak and easy targets as they have no one to heal their wounds. Current Healer - Anubrado

Territory
The Den ;; Nestled deep in the heart of the pack's territory is a small rocky rise in the earth, covered in gnarled roots and vines the ground here is mossy and soft providing the perfect ground for pups to tumble and play without getting hurt. The den itself is tucked away in the side of the rise, perfectly framed by two large boulders leaning together with the roots of a tree clinging to the large stones offering the entrance some camouflage. A small stream winds its way around the rise and offers a constant source of fresh water. 
Dead Hollow ;; Before the pack settled in the forest, a fire must have raged through part of the land. There's a hollow near the southern most border where the tree trunks look like blackened fangs reaching towards the sky, their branches long gone and their bark charred. The ground is still covered in crisp undergrowth that crumbles at the slightest touch. New growth is starting to cover the ground of the hollow, and occasionally this can be a good place to find small critters for a quick snack or small meal. 
Shaded River ;; If you follow the stream from the Den to it's destination, you'll come down into an overgrown valley likely formed by the river that tumbles and flows through this side of the pack's territory. In the summer the waters are calm and cool, offering a good place to swim or fish should an individual be into that sort. It freezes over during the winter, but it's not recommended to cross it as the ice can be thin. During the spring and fall, the river is prone to flooding the valley after heavy rains. 
Wooded Valley ;; Surrounding the Shaded River is a heavily wooded and overgrown valley that is rich in prey big and small. This will be the most common area hunting parties go but can also be riddled with other predators trying to find a meal. In the spring and fall this can be a dangerous area to try and hunt as flash floods are common. 
The Foothills ;; To the north the trees began to thin out and the land begins to rise up into the foothills that frame a large mountain range that looms over the pack's territory. Some larger hooved prey can be found here, but so can other predators.  HTML by Lila #225. Do not remove credit

Pack History
Sombra Pack was founded in the heart of dense deciduous forest by a she-wolf by the name Tempestade. She banded together a small group of individuals who had already been calling the forest their home and merely planned to get them on their feet before moving on, but fell in love with the wolves she now considered her friends and the forest that quickly became her home. A defining feature that developed in the Sombra pack is their keen ability to hunt while blending into the shadows. They are able to get much closer to their prey and have found a higher success rate when hunting through the forest by blending into the darkened areas where their prey already has a hard time seeing. Tempestade leads the pack with a calm and steady paw, hoping to build her pack into something other packs both respect and fear, a pack filled with strong hunters, sharp scouts, and fierce fighters.HTML by Lila #225.
