Best way to get SC/GC early on?

I know that it's gonna take a while for the economy to stabilize, but while everything is so expensive right now, how is everyone making those cones?

Completing Quests. Its a bit of a slow go (daily).

Also selling meat chucks given from exploring. Hunting gives me enough food to feed on.

Complete quests, figure out what explore encounters give sc (use the grousehouse guides), sell single use food items to the raccoon, sell feathers in the trade center. I like to bury my sc in bundles of 100 so that I can save up. Hope this helps! :)
