Oh thank you! I think i can probably get one within the next day or two from exploring though, so it's cool. My main issue was not knowing how to make any silvercones outside of quests, now i know. Thanks so much! |

I'm gonna set my permanent breeding male. Should I set one with a rarer base? I have 3 that are in the 2.0 - 3.0 range that I'm trying to decide between. I also have my customized male who has 2 markings. Is there anything I should know about breeding males and which ones would be best to choose? Also how do you share a wolf in a link? |

@ModestNeko Here's a guide to things that are currently desirable in a breeding male. As for your question, it depends on the specific base but generally yes. However, a Tier II base will almost always be better than a Tier I base unless the Tier I base is breed-only and desirable. I can help more if you give me a list of the ones you're deciding between. I wouldn't go for the 2-marking customized male because people tend to prefer wolves with more markings. Here's a guide to linking wolves |

Is there a way to figure out which tier the base is or a link to somewhere that will tell me? I'll link all my males just in case I have a hidden gem as this is a big decision lol. Here's my custom male: Ashes 2.11 base: Riverbank 2.22 base: Sand Is this a rare base? Viper Above 3 base: Python Probably basic but just checking: Raven Thanks in advance >o< I've been trying to keep the rares but keep the amount of males I have down as it's costly to upgrade lol. |

Yep, base guide is Here. As a shortcut just look at the genetics. For example, Ashes has a black base which is Monochrome Dark I. The "I" tells you the tier, which is I or 1. I went through your wolves; here are the results: Ashes: Tier I base, non Breed-Only Riverbank: Tier I base, non Breed-Only Sand: Tier I, non Breed-Only Viper: Tier I, non Breed-Only Python: Tier I, non Breed-Only Raven: Tier I, non Breed-Only I assume these are all NBWs? I'd recommend breeding or buying a higher tier male with some desirable markings to use as your breeding male. 2.11 isnt really a low percentage for a base. For reference, my Tier II Breed-Only based breeding male is 0.11%, and my Tier II non-BO based lead is 0.44% |

Oh okay I thought that 2 percentage was low lol. I haven't looked around at other wolves enough I guess xD Yeah they're all NBW. So I should look for breed-only bases so I can have those mix with other females right? Thanks for letting me know that shortcut lol. Definitely helps :p I'll go have a look around the trade center after I get some more sc (I lost my bought adolescent at first and had to upgrade and bribe her back xD) Thanks for the help! |

I recommend getting Tier IIs rather than breed-only bases for breeding. Breeding two bases doesn't result in a split between pups with one parent's base and pups with the other parents base, it comes from a calculation of the genetics. There's a part on one of the guides I linked (here) that explains it pretty well, but I'm happy to help if you need any of it explained. You'd have more luck getting BO bases from two Tier II wolves with similar genetics than you would by breeding two Tier I BO bases with different genetics. |

Oh okay I'll look into tier 2 ones in the trading center then. Thanks! I think I kinda get that but if there is an easier way of explaining to ensure I understand it I'd be happy to hear it xD |

There's not really an easier way to explain the percentages :( Some key things to note are: - Breeding two muted bases can result in puppies with bases from any colour group, but breeding the other 3 color groups to themselves will only result in puppies with bases from that color group. - Breeding two medium bases can result in puppies with bases of any shade, but breeding two light bases or two dark bases will always result in puppies with all light or all dark bases - Breeding two Tier I bases will only result in Tier I based puppies, but breeding two Tier II bases can result in either Tier II (40%) or Tier I (60%) bases. You cannot get a Tier II base by breeding two Tier I based wolves, but you can get Tier Is from breeding two Tier IIs. There is currently only one wolf with a higher tier base, but he is not for stud so you don't need to worry about tier III. |
