Okay, so I have a male I want to be my breeding male. But if I assign the role of a Scout and then make him my breeding male, will he no longer be a Scout? |

No, he will be able to be a scout. Breeding Male isn't a role like scout, hunter, and herbalist are. My breeding male is a hunter |

How much do you think the conversion rate should be? I just need some advice. You know, for GC and SC. |

The conversion rate is constantly changing. You can check by going to Crossroads > Trading Center > Search Trades > Currency and inputting 1 in "GC in Trade" and anywhere from 60-80 in "SC Buyout". Keep reducing the number until there are no lower prices shown in the trades, and that's the conversion rate. As of writing this, it is 1 GC:70 SC |

Okay... I'm really having trouble with befriending wolves. Any advice? One time I was high in the green and howled and they STILL left >.> Also I have a female lead and keep only having success with male wolves. Is there a reason for that or bad luck? Same with seeming to have males appear more often than females. |

Check out This Guide on befriending, and This Chart (which is in the guide as well) to see which options to choose to befriend a wolf. How high in the green were you? Sometimes you're just not high enough for the wolf to want to join you. No, that's just luck. The sex of the wolf you're trying to befriend has no influence on your lead's ability to befriend it. I haven't seen any data on whether male wolves are more common in explore, but I've also noticed that I see males more often than I see females. |

Hi! I just started yesterday, thanks for offering to help newbies like me. :) I was wondering what the deal was with the "retire" button underneath wolves' stats - I thought the SC was a cost to save the wolf to your dynasty or something, but I noticed the number increased when I leveled up the wolf, which made it look more like a payout. Do you know anything about this? I'm also wondering about wolf market value. My first pup was born with Henna, which looks like a breeding-only base, so I thought he might be worth something. But I searched the trade market and a lot of the other listed Henna wolves don't have set prices listed, and the ones that do have more markings than him, so I'm not sure how I'd price him or if anyone would even be interested in buying. I see people talking about just chasing out wolves rather than selling them, even nicer ones than him - does that mean that the average pup isn't worth enough to bother trying to sell? Also, does it matter what age they're sold at? |

1) The retire button sends the wolf to our dynasty early. It is a cost, not a payout. 2) Henna pups don't currently go for a lot unless they have special markings, such as RMA-exclusive markings like merle and tamaskan unders, or combo color markings like zircon undersides. The lowest priced henna pup on the market is only 15 SC. High stats (300+) will also influence the price, as will the sex of the wolf before females are more useful than males. I don't chase any of my pups and I've never had a problem selling, but I sometimes do have to sell for pretty low prices. The age a pup is sold at doesn't seem to matter as long as they're old enough to be sold. There is no pup training so there's not benefit to buying a young pup, and adolescents are sometimes wanted more than younger pups, but it depends on the buyer. |
