Mutation Theories & Art Use

Hello there! I have a question about the use of wolvden's images (Specifically, the wolf "lineart"). I could not find anything in the CoC or ToS about such use of site assets, which is why I am asking here.

I was thinking of making a thread to speculate on and theorize about different mutations, as well as to share ideas for mutations. Specifically, I am excited to share my ideas/theories for possible piebald mutations in the future. I wanted to ask if it was okay to use the wolvden wolf lineart to give art examples of what I mean. (i.e. I would use the image of a white wolf to create a "lineart" and color underneath it.) These would ONLY be uploaded to dropbox (to host them) and posted to the thread in question (to share them). I would not claim the art in any way, only use the wolf lineart in order to convey my ideas/speculation about possible future mutations as clearly as possible.

Thank you, but the modbox specifies "If you are confused, or need to ask a question about how something in the game works, please post on our Help Board instead!" as well as the types of info you should submit. These specified types are:

• exploitable or game-breaking bugs
• the game itself breaking (i.e. you are stuck in a battle)
• or reports of members/threads that break rules or are posted in the wrong place.

As the modbox rules are worded now, I believe that a question- even one like this- should be posted to the help board, so as not to clog the modbox, as it is low-priority and, in the end, does not deserve mod/admin attention as much as the issues above do. I will hold off on any action until I can be sure of the answer, preferably by a mod posting, but if I receive no answer after about two weeks, I will work under the assumption that the answer would be no, and simply draw my ideas entirely by hand until I am told otherwise.

I think they mean that game mechanics questions like "how does hunting works" or "how do I put a profile picture" should go in the help section, but if it's something that may go against CoC or ToS, mods are the only one that can answer you, since they are the only one that know in depth what it's permitted and what not.

Questions like this, or even this one can only be answered by devs and mods and were taken to the modbox (or suggested to be taken there).

Don't be afraid to use the modbox, even if it's a low priority question. They will help you anyway!
