I don't have a problem with this being a rule. I do have a problem with the fact that I've never seen this information before today. Its not stated in the breeding tutorial, nor on the Help: Breeding tab, nor on anything unofficial like Grouse House guides. I want to make this clear: I do not have a problem with this being a rule (even if I don't exactly understand why). I do, however, want this information to be readily available. The reason this is such a big issue is because you are only told about this AFTER you've bred your breeding male that day. Meaning if you end up in a situation like mine (will explain shortly) there's nothing you can do. See, my current breeding male Alsax is 7 years, 5.5 months. Ever since he was a pup, I planned on immortalizing him at this age. But because I was unaware of this rule (that is not stated anywhere until after the fact), he might die before I can immortalize him. There is no way to guarantee his survival for another rollover, so I'm left sitting here stressing over something so easily avoidable. I don't want this situation to happen to anyone else, so I would like to see a change. My suggestion is: have the information "You cannot remove breeding males on the day they have been bred." be added permanently to the Remove Breeding Male box, that way it is readily available information that can be viewed at any given time, preventing needless worry and stress. This would be a fairly simple addition that would require little coding. |

If I would have known ahead of time that the breeding male status couldn't be removed the day they were bred, this wouldn't have been an issue in the first place. Crossing my fingers in hopes that he makes it another rollover :) |

As someone else who greatly enjoys planning and doing so on this lovely wolf game, I could hardly agree more with this change! Wishing you all the best as well. |

I heard breeding males will not die of old age like leads. But I never verified it. (Someone please let me know if that is indeed the case or not.) Is it possible to remove them as breeding male and then immortalize them on the same day after they rollover from the last day they were bred? |

And as for your second question, I think so. If the last time your breeding male was bred was yesterday, for example, then you could remove him from the role and immortalize on the same day. |
