Arcadia awoke sharply from his slumber. A deep grumble formed in his chest as he stood from his bed; stretching his dark, elongated figure. He shook out his thick, black, coat before blinking his hazy, blue-glowing eyes and walking out of his den. He observed the two females encounter before the beta's attention flickered towards his thirst for water. He started off in the direction of the Riverbend, his black haze-coated figure thundered through the forest. Blue mist swept itself behind him as he traced through the forest towards the river.

Yay, some activity

After a short rest, Lavender Mist starts slowly to get bored. Yeah, a social wolf. She spots that blue mist, recognising the sign of a passed packmate. The female pads, following the fading trail, which led her to Arcadia.
"Whatcha doin' here?"

Arcadia perked his ears towards the voice of Lavender Mist as he drank the last of his water from the river. He adjusted his posture and fixated his glowing eyes on the female. He lowered his gaze to her view given he stood a few feet taller than her (at the shoulder).
"I'm getting some water." He spoke, his deepened vocals seeming to bounce off the trees as his maw seeped a blue haze.
"Shouldn't you be scouting the territory?" He asked a slight hostile-tone coating his voice, though he didn't mean it. 		Squishy

Lavender Mist lowers her ears, turning her bright violet gaze towards Arcadia. Relaxing her tail and tilting her head a bit, she spoke.
"I scouted a large amount of some new territory, not sure if it's a forest or some swamp actually, I'm taking a short rest before doing that once again here.."
She dips her head and starts greedily lapping up some clear water.

Arcadia fixes his posture once more, eyeing Lavender as she greedily drank from the river.
"Save some for the rest of us" He'd mumble under his breath before sitting on the grass-coated ground, waiting for his packmate to finish drinking. Gently tapping his blue-misted paws against the ground, he'd create a tempered rhythm. 		Squishy

"Ha? Like if this large river ever ends.. Animals had been drinking from it for moons." She stops drinking and licks her mouth. Lavender Mist tilts her head a bit at the water, inspecting it. Unsure of what to do next, she curls her blue-tipped tail around her as well blue tipped paws and.. Starts grooming, time-to-time gazing around.

He perked his ears towards her response and shrugged it off, directing his ears towards the uneasy forest behind him. He could hear a slight shuffle within the forest, turning his blue gaze towards the noise. He stood, flaring his nose ever so slightly, attempting to pick up any scent.
"Speaking of animals" He'd mumble, fixating his gaze on the thick trees behind them, slightly using his body to shield the she-wolf's figure, hiding her from any form of threat. 		Squishy

She stops her preening and glances the same direction as the male did. Lavender Mist looks at Arcadia and sniffs the air too, but more intensely, shuffling her paws. The she-wolf shakes her fur, failing to catch any smell of either prey or a larger enemy. Stretching, she was full of energy and was ready to scout new territories, or rescout the known.
"Well, I'm off to go."
She carefully places her paws, following an unknown path.

He nodded her off, continuing to eye the woods. He shook his fur lightly before continuing the way he came from camp, laughing lightly.
"Works every time." He'd say through his slight laughter before focusing himself on running through the forest. His black-figure coated in blue mist sprinted gracefully through the forest, disappearing in occasional shadows and reappearing in spaces of light. He arrived back at camp and slowed his pace to a steady stop beside the maple tree, gently settling himself next to a large maple tree. He rested on the opposite side of the tree, giving the elderly female wolf space. He gently eased his head onto one of the many roots of the tree.

Lavender Mist keeps trotting further and further away from camp, deciding which path to go and which steps to take. A long walk leads her to a large, muddy swamp with a few bald trees.
"Eh.."
Now, picking her way a lot more carefully to not drown in all this dirt, she follows the visible way out of the swamp and wonders which creatures find home here. Maybe, she could bite into some tender meat if she will be more careful... Anyway, her walk slowly turns into an agile run as the way out of the swamp isn't still found, so she decides to inspect it closer. Fine, nothing useful here. Lavender Mist turns and dashes off back into camp swiftly, into here shortly, and settles down near a empty cave.
