This will never happen, as getting people to buy gc using real money is how they keep the game afloat.

Yeah, I oppose. As Zakara points out, the game needs to make money and the only thing they do to get that money is sell GC. Also, 3k SC is SO much. Why would you want to exchange SC for GC at a rate like that when you could buy it from another player for like a ninth of the price? That highlights another problem: even if the game did have an exchange it would either be so high that nobody would use it, or so low that it could destroy the gold economy.
