Explore Fighting Exp Gains [Data Collection Phase]

I will be starting a win/loss/retreat data gathering next. Should I have a singular form or just make one per biome? Let me know if either sounds nicer to use or if you have another preference! I should have a rough guide for Easy-Difficult Biomes soon. The Challenging ones might be incomplete. I was also considering offering bounties, SC/GC amounts tbd, for raising a lead wolf from 1-20 in a single biome minus deviations for slay quests. If I did that, would anyone be interest in doing so? It would be some time before a lot of folks are ready to retire, but that gives me time to hoard SC for that purpose. |

I might be interested in such a deal. But what exactly are trying to gain from leveling your lead in just one biome? |

There seems to be a difference in exp for different kinds of enemies. Once the leveling curve starts getting higher this difference could make certain biomes more advantageous for certain levels. But this is hard to prove with both the RNG in getting fights and the RNG of fighting it's self. So the idea is to have as many controls as possible, which the easiest is to just level in a single biome so that no other enemy types would influence it much. I'd of course not like to make people miss out on quests, so there would be a margin of error. But an acceptable one. If one biome favors getting to say level 10 faster (win/loss/retreat ratio favors winning when picking fights +/- 3 levels to your lead / enemies tending to be ones that give even a slight larger increase of exp) then moving there before you pick a new lead would be advantageous to players interested in finding chased wolves. Same goes for level 15 for special NBWs and 20 to max leveled stat gains. Basically people could plan starting over in a biome to get an early leveling advantage when you have to rescout and have more of an idea which biomes to prioritize rescouting. Mind you this would be more targeted away from leaderboarder strategies as they will have much higher stats than your average player. But the collected data would be public just like the current sheet, so it'll be there for whatever use the WD public wants to get out of it aside from my objective too. |

This is a cool project! Mostly I'd love to see a summary of which enemies give you which stats. |

@Nika Thank you very much! I hope once it's done, it's a handy guide for WD to help others enjoy getting to the Chased/Special NBWs sooner and easier when you have to re-level a new lead wolf. There are quite a few of those already filled in on the spreadsheet linked in the first post! But I am going to try to include it where I have it reported when I get to formatting the guide. I've been a bit under the weather, but hopefully that'll be done soon as the last thing I need is to try to do math while I'm a bit foggy with a fever. I'd rather slowly do this thing instead of rushing it and it be a hot mess or just plain wrong. |

More personal update than the now second post 'official' update space. Wolvden has an impressive amount of enemies actually. Making up the new sheets that are one page per enemy it becomes really obvious. Regardless, update from me. I separating everything by enemy now and about to start seeing if some of our more frequently fought enemies have a logical seeming exp range to them. If they do, I will be able to look into seeing if gaps can be filled speculatively with math until we get solid reports. There are a lot of things here, the stats reported are kinda interesting to look though. I suggest Bobcat as one that has quite a few entries if you'd like to see what I mean. It doesn't seem to be random, but it doesn't look like it's always the same for every enemy either. |

I put together a enemy/stat count table based on the data in your spreadsheet - feel free to copy it to your spreadsheet so it auto-updates as you get more data! |
