Brink immediately smelled the new wolf and panicked so many new wolves?? Is this one dangerous?? He looks in the direction of the scent, "of your trying to sneak up to us, at least stand downswind."
Aurubu stood up, shaking a leaf or two off herself. She had been so intent on watching them that she hadn't realized that the wind changed direction. "Bad luck." She huffed, then dipped her head in greetings. She forced her embarrassment down and tried to ignore herself heating up. Aurubu desperately hoped that the other wolves couldn't see that. The auburn wolf felt a little wary, being the focus of the three other wolves. She usually tried to stay out of the packs that lived around here, tending to herself.
Aurubu blinked in surprise at the gesture. Gazing down at the rabbit, she thought to herself; wouldn't it be a little rude to eat it in front of them? More rude if you don't accept the gift. "Thank you, I appreciate this." She gives them a genuine smile, and tried to think quick. "I know I'm new to you three, but how about we share this? I didn't exactly want to waltz in here and take all your food." Then she wanted to bury herself down into the earth and disappear. Most packmates do this, not complete strangers! She awkwardly pushed the rabbit a little towards the wolf who offered it to her. So much for being the oh-so-great mysterious wolf.
He takes a small bite, trying to show her its not poison or anything, "Do either of you want any? I can get more.." he looks to Whisper and Romeo. "Or we can try hunting together?"
Aurubu nodded, as the other wolf made sense. Even though I like to be alone sometimes, I can still help out. She glanced towards the two behind the bronze and black-furred wolf, then back at him.
