"Ah, I'll remember that- It gets chilly often, and our moon is never as bright, or as yellow, as yours, so it's common to see wolves moonbathing; I do it a lot more because my fur is too light."
His tail wagged, moving dirt around as it did so.
"Oh! Our moon can only really be seen at night! The sun will come out soon, and that's the yellow one! You probably haven't seen it because the sky is covered by trees. Come with me!" Rain gets up and starts to walk deeper into the forest.
Mirage looked towards the other wolves, who seem to be doing their own thing, before following behind Rain. "Are you trying to pupnap me? I mean it's not that hard considering I'm still gonna follow you-" He asked, a dopey smile indicating he's kidding.
(I'm going to make mirage an actual wolf in my pack omg I love him too much)
Rain smirks "trust me, if I were to pupnap anyone it would probably be Whisper." He leads mirage to a open clearing where the moon shines brightly in the sky. In that moment it's noticeable that his fur is in fact not brown, but a deep, fiery orange that has stripes going through it. "See, this is our moon."
"Oh! It's just like mine-" His tail furiously wagged, and his extra limbs wiggled in excitement.-""I'm here mama, I'm alive dad. Celestial Moon please send them a message. Please tell them I'll find a way back." He mumbled to the sky, hoping to feel some form of peace, instead anxiety washed over him.
He waved it off, instead looking back towards Rain, "Thank you," he mumbled thankfully.
He nodded, staring back up at the moon. "My parents met each other somewhere like this, they showed me when I was still a pup.-" He turned to Rain- "I want to meet someone somewhere like this. I think that would be nice."
He smiled, sitting down and turning back to the moon.
