Mirage watched as the big, yellow moon rose, and looked over to Rain, curled around Whisper, sound asleep. It took him a moment to realize he was thinking of his mom. She would curl around him when he was still young, snarling at the leader anytime they got close, afraid they would snatch him away and leave him to rot, for the leader was quite certain Mirage was cursed.
  He laid down, yawned, and fell asleep under the shade of a tree.

(just for clarification, when I write big yellow moon, I always mean the sun- ill write moon for the moon)
