He felt it as Carlos slowly stopped shaking, and he could have sworn he heard him sniffle once or twice. but he didn't plan on mentioning that. After a good while, Carlos loosened his grip, and Donnie took a step back to give him some space. "Who knew you were such a softie, huh?" He joked as he walked around to the other side of the small table and sat down. He sat there, waiting to see if Carlos would sit down. He decided to fill the silence to relieve some of the pressure. "Sorry I just jumped you like that. You just.. Seemed like you needed it." . . . "I'll uh- I'll leave you alone about your emotions, but . . Just know that you're allowed to have them. You don't have to be the same stone cold jackass all the time." He joked as he began to eat his omlette. |

"A midget? Is that what you had called me earlier?" Donnie could have sworn Carlos was smiling . . "O-Oh! You uh, you heard that?" He stuttered nervously, realising that might not have been the only thing he heard. "H-How much of my sp-speech did you hear exactly..?" He asked, trying to hide his embarrassment, though he was sure it was written all over his face. |

Huh? "Well now that we're on the subject-" He sighed. "Are you straight? Sorry if it's blunt- I really just can't tell!" He began to panic near the end, realising how awkward of a question that was. Instead of waiting for a response, he took their dishes to the sink and rinsed them off. "Well now I don't know about you, but I've got TONS of stuff to do today!" He rambled, trying his best to change the subject, and to make matters even better, he added the most awkward nervous chuckle you could possibly imagine at the end of his sentence. "I'm just gonna go get dressed now, I'll be right back!" He called as he was already halfway through his bedroom door. He was cringing so hard in his mind, it wasn't even funny- Why would you ASK him that?! Are you insane?! WELL OBVIOUSLY. And why did I say I was 'getting changed'?! I'm ALREADY DRESSED. And I have like NOTHING to do today either- I just can't keep my mouth shut can I!? He rambled on in his mind. Whatever.. Carlos has probably left already, I mean, there's no real reason for him to stick around anymore. He probably has stuff to do anyways. I guess I could go hang out at Kate's Club..? Dammit, it only opens past midnight, she'll have it locked up by now. Whatever, I'll just go anyways. They've got alcohol there, it's good enough. Besides, heh, I have a key! He sighed and changed yet again. This time, he was wearing blue jean shorts, fishnets underneath, wedged boots, and a cropped white band T-shirt. He came out of his room and turned around to find . . . |

Carlos had still been sitting at the table, "Sorry I didn't mean to make you nervous.. I didn't mean to say what I sack I meant to say that I wasn't straight. I just got my words mixed up and ended up saying something that was really dumb. " |

Time to WinG It )) He was surprised to see that Carlos was still here. When Carlos said that he wasn't straight, Donnie only became ten times more frazzled. Because now, not only had he called him hot and said all sorts of shit, the man turns out to also be gay. "Oh- Hey! I didn't know you were still here-" He remarked, now becoming a bit embarrassed to be in clothes like this in front of a frien- Don't you dare finish that sentence, Donnie. He isn't your friend. You just keep running into each other stupidly often. That's all. He thought to himself. "And, I don't know what you're talking about- I wasn't nervous!" He scoffed. I was. 100%. "So uh, I'm actually heading out right now. ." He became a bit more tense than before, and started messing with the fingerless fishnet gloves he was wearing. "If you need a ride, I can drop you off somewhere, I don't know if you brought your car or not. I'm heading out to the club and bar." He added that last part, forgetting that it wasn't actually open right now. He hoped Carlos hadn't caught his mistake. |

About an hour or so later, Donnie had called Monday to tell her he'd be using the club for a little bit. "Donovan Meillar Ali- You had better not trash the place again! And make sure you've got a ride home, I don't want you behind the wheel when you're drunk, got it?" Monday sighed, her voice firm. "Yeah yeah, I know! I swear to you, good friend, this place will be spotless by tonight!" He promised her as he unlocked the door to the nightclub. "Donnie, I'm serious! If I get there tonight and it's wrecked, you're never goin' there without me again! I have worked too damn hard to get that place to where it is now." She reprimanded him, adding extra force just to make her point clear. "Alright, Monday- Thank you so much~" He teased her. "Donni-" "Love you bye~!" He smirked, setting down his bag by the counter. He walked around until he found the lightswitches, and then he put his favourite playlist on the speakers and began drinking. He was only there for a few hours before he got bored and decided to go home. He wasn't drunk, but he was pretty tipsy, so he decided he'd just walk home. It was around dinner time when he left. He made sure to lock up on his way out, but before he could grab the keys out of the door, he felt someone cover his mouth and grab him from behind. |
