Donnie had his headphones in while he was cleaning. It had been almost an hour since Carlos left, and he had distracted himself from his worry by tidying up the entire house. He was dancing around the kitchen when he heard the front door unlock and slam shut.
He took out his headphones and happily ran out to greet Carlos, but his expression quickly changed to horrified when he saw him.
"H-Holy shit! Hon what happened?!" He shuddered, going up to him to inspect the damage.

Carlos swallowed a little, "Everythings fine I promise ok? But I need you to listen to me Your not safe here anymore, ok? My boss…he knows that you know about the mafia. He wants to get rid of you alright? I need to get you out of here, before he realizes that your staying here and not at your apartment." He told him, seeming to be panicking.

He stood there in shock for a moment, letting it all sink in.
"W-What? But why does it matter that I know?! I haven't told anybody, and I'm not going to!" He recoiled, still focused on identifying what he could do to patch Carlos up.

He knew Carlos was right, but he was still so upset about what he was hearing that it had practically gone in one ear and out the other.

"I know, but he doesn't want to risk everyone being arrested." He said, speaking kinda quickly. "I keep telling him you know nothing because the moment he finds out you do. He's gonna try and kill you, and I can't let that happen."

He had turned around and gotten a washcloth from the kitchen. He got it wet slightly and began to wipe the blood off of Carlos' face, being as careful as he could to avoid his nose, which was clearly broken.
He sighed, still internally panicking. "Okay.. I'll grab the bags."

A while ago, Carlos had convinced Donnie to pack a bag of his most important possessions, just in case they ever had to leave in a hurry, though he imagined that this isn't what Carlos had in mind when he'd suggested it.

He hurried back to their bedroom and got changed. He had been in just a pair of track shorts before with a black jacket, but now he was wearing a long pair of jeans with one of his black cropped hoodies. He snatched up the bags and came back out into the living room, where Carlos was already waiting for him.

Carlos did grab a bag, but he did go to his bedroom. He grabbed another gun that he had kept in there. Once they were ready he headed right back outside. His car was still running as he went and opened the trunk to it. He put the new gun he got from the bedroom in the back seat, where it was hidden by a jacket.

Donnie put his bag in the trunk along with Carlos' bag he had grabbed for him. He hopped into the front seat and buckled, knowing that Carlos was about to break as many street laws as possible.
"Is-Is it really safe for us to leave now? What if someone sees us leaving town.?" He mumbled, avoiding the questions that weighed heaviest on his mind.

"I brought the gun for a reason." He said as he got into the car and buckled up himself. He pulled out of the driveway and as they went down the road, he drove normally. "I want to drive as calmly as I can cause then we would attract unwanted attention." He told him as he drove. He was silent for a moment. He had his left eye barely open as he drove.

He sighed, feeling relieved that Carlos was going to at least try to obey the law.
But.. Those weren't the questions he was wondering. He gave into his worry and asked,
"Can- Can I call my friends? And my brother? I don't want them to worry about where I've gone.." He mumbled, already knowing the answer.
He began to fiddle with the bottom of his shirt again, before he distracted himself by pulling out a cold compress he had grabbed for Carlos' eye.

Sorry, I was getting lunch! :3))

Carlos hesitated before he gave a small nod, "Yes.. You can tell them your leaving. But you can't tell them why, I don't want anyone else to get killed or hurt." He said as he stopped at a red light closing his eyes, "God my head hurts like a bitch."
