yes. but canada is like right on the border. canada and the us share a border, including a national park and a waterfall. so i feel like its not too much of a mental jump to believe that this could be somewhere in Glacier National Park (said national park where some parts are in Canada) or something like that so part of the territory could be in canada which is out of the us. 

though now that im thinking about it tala being a park ranger might make more sense

maybe. or maybe she is working for the NPS or something, cause they would totally be involved in reintroducing wolves to national parks, and the fact that there haven't been really any hunters (that im aware of) seems to suggest that this is a protected place, which could be a national park

Still believe she's more of an FBI than CIA if we were to uphold the joking theory of her being an agent. Hacker Tala? That does not match one bit to me, but she fits well as FBI
