"Alright! Here, I can take those." He smiled slightly as he took the books. He suddenly thought of something. This boy doesn't know what he is. All he knows is that Hiro has telepathy. He didn't like that people knew what he was, but this was a chance for him to try and make friends with someone who didn't talk to him just to gain respect from others.
"So where are we headed?" He asked once he had adjusted everything.
And then he realised, "Oh- Shoot, sorry! Here." He sighed as he held out his hand so that Avery could tell him where they were going.

After a moment, Avery took his hand. I was just heading towards the cafeteria. You don't have to go all the way... He thought as he looked at Hiro. He tried to keep his mind clear, cause he didn't want Hiro hearing those other thoughts.

Though he was sure he hadn't meant to let it slip, Hiro very clearly heard, I could've taken Jonas..
This made him laugh a little bit, but then he heard a much more interesting line of thoughts.
Why is he so tall? I have to look up just to make eye contact with him. This guy's actually really hot. Why's he looking at me like that?
Hiro quickly let go of his hand and blurted, "Cafeteria, got it!" in an embarrassed tone of voice.

They began walking down towards the cafeteria. All the way there, Hiro was holding back a smile.

Avery kept his head down, trying to avoid all the stairs that he got. He seemed kinda nervous about walking after what had happened.

Hiro seemed to notice Avery being nervous, then he realised why. He glared at the people Avery had assumed were staring at him, but the truth is that they were staring at Hiro. He wasn't really the 'nice' kind of person, so it was a little strange for him to be helping someone out. He let his eyes turn red and most of the people very quickly stopped staring.

They got to the cafeteria and Hiro asked, "Hey, where do you want me to set this stuff down at?"
