It had been nearly a week since school started, and Hiroshi was sick of it already. He'd gotten into a fight already, and of course, he won. He hadn't talked to Avery since that incident with his guys, but because they sat next to each other in history, he was able to make sure that his boys didn't mess with him too often.
Today they were assigned their first project of the year, and of course it was a partner project. As chill as Ms.Adams was, she still loved to torture her students.
By the time he'd found Jason, he was already paired up, and that meant that he'd have to go with Elisabeth. Or so he thought. Turns out that the teacher didn't require Avery to have a partner because it might be a bit difficult, so he was allowed to work alone if he wanted. As a last ditch effort to avoid this psycho, he walked up to Avery and whispered,
"Bro, if you do this, I'll owe you bigtime." before continuing in a tone loud enough for Elisabeth to hear. "Hey, so you wanna work together?"
He silently pleaded that Avery would just role with it, before Avery suddenly grabbed his hand.
