He was a little confused, and just a little concerned at that last part, but he didn't want to make Avery uncomfortable. "Alrighty then, I just got paid, so it's my treat. Where do you wanna go?" He asked, offering his hand to help him get up off the couch. Once they had decided on a place, he and Avery walked outside towards his car. However, the first thing they saw was a psycho-looking red headed lady storming towards them. Oh shit- He heard Avery think. What's wrong? Who is she? Do you know her? He asked, concerned. But before he could get a response, the woman yelled. "AVERY WULF! Who the fuck is that?!" |

Avery tensed up and he quickly let out of his hand and started signing quickly. He seemed to start panicking as his mother approached them and so many thoughts ran through his hand. |

Hiroshi stepped forward immediately, while Skye stood back and growled at her from a distance. Damn. Even the dog's afraid of this bitch. As she raised her hand to hit him again, Hiro caught her arm. He squeezed it, not remembering his enhanced strength, and his eyes were a bright red. "Hello there ma'am, my name is Hiroshi, and I'm a friend of your son. We were just leaving." He smiled, seeming very irritated. "Oh, and if you hit him again, so help me god, it won't be your arm next time." He growled, dropping his fake smile. |

"Why?! She doesn't just get to treat you like that, Avery!" He called him by his name, no longer in the mood for jokes. Avery hadn't yet noticed his eyes, so he quickly changed them back to brown. He could no longer hear Avery. He's panicking. It's breaking the connection. He thought to himself, grabbing Avery's hand so he could hear him. Without thinking though, he squeezed Avery's hand. Hard. It was all the leftover anger he had wanted to take out on his mother. |

Please just get in your car and leave... we have to work on this another day. Hiroshi watched as Avery started to shake. It looks like Skye noticed too, and she quickly trotted over to Avery. "Oh not this again.. Just get over it, Avery! You're FINE!" His mother scolded him, still cradling her arm. Hiro could see the bruises already forming. "Fuck off! Just go inside and chug a beer, lady!" He retorted, letting his horns flicker for a moment. She got the memo, and flipped him off before running inside. |
