Floppy brain notes :RANDOM THINGS TO INCLUDE : - Sarah flipping out on Ryomu - He tells her his real name, because logic? XD - She still refuses to trust him - He explains that there's really not much he can do to get her out of this - They go over everything that would happen should she agree to just pretend to court with him - He clarifies that he only wants to be FRIENDS. (For now . . .  )- They have a mini argument while Jessie's asleep(Doesn't have to be now, just at some point) - Jessie wakes up and waddles over to Ryo - He picks her up or smthn and they stop arguing while he puts her back to bed - (If Sarah decides to go with it) Sarah gets weirded out by all the strict rules and shit - Sarah gets picked on a lil bit by the other women - Sar and Ryo go horseback riding :3 - Ryomu learns that Sarah, the most threatening woman he's ever met, sneezes like a kitten. - Ryomu screams at the top of his lungs. Sarah comes running, and she finds Ryomu standing on a chair while screaming about a spider. - One of them stays up WAY too late and ends up exhausted - *Secret handshake* I'll just leave this here. . . O 3O - Sar and Ryo laying on a hill side full of wildflowers - One of them could totally be allergic to pollen XD - Arisa being a bitch - Sarah gets to meet the rest of the harem (I totally wanna act that out at some point btw-) - The other women question Sarah about Jessie - Ryomu gets defensive over the matter of Jessie, and tells them to just drop it - Ryomu ends up super stressed because of the pressure from his father, and the back-to-back meetings with the officials. - Ryo accidentally snaps at Sarah and ends up feeling really bad about it - Ryo pretty much collapses at some point from exhaustion - Ryo training super aggressively while Sarah just watches from afar, questioning his mental state. - Ryomu spending time with all the girls? - Ryomu rejecting one or two of 'em = 3= - Something involving a late night kitchen raid or cooking. Food. Yesssssss. - Jessie says her first word :> - Sarah gets into a fight with one of the other women - The Empress could take a liking to Sarah? - The Empress could absolutely hate Sarah? o>o - Sarah meets her maids and servants? :3 - Sarah gets to see her room and has Ryomu set something up for Jessie - They hire a full-time nanny for Jessie since they're both fairly busy during the day? - Sarah gets a mini makeoverrrr? .^. (Nothing drastic tho- She's already bootiful U -U - Jessie is adored by all the other women. She's her own little princess, alright? U _U RANDOM SHIT I FELT LIKE EXPLAINING : (Btw, this is mostly me explaining it to myself, but feel free to read .^. ) Soooo- The 'Harem' thingy is pretty much just the group of girls Ryomu will court until he's decided on one to become his Empress. They all live in the east wing of the palace, and spend most of their time in the crystal hall(A recreational room specifically designed for the women of the selection.) The selection is expected to last a few years, depending on how many girls there were to start with. In this case, there are six, so the selection may last up to three or so years. Over time, Ryomu is expected to spend time with and get to know each of them. He may dismiss them from the selection as he sees fit. Pretty much, if he doesn't see a future for the two of them, he can tell her to F-Off. Once he's selected his woman, the rest of the women will be dismissed from the palace. Then they can officially start 'dating', I guess. They'll get married once the Emperor dies, and Ryomu succeeds him. While the girls are there, the Empress will give them lessons on the kingdom's history, and other such diplomatic things. Once it's down to the final three, she will spend more time with them. It'll become a mother-daughter bond over time, and she'll take more time to get to know each of the girls. She'll probably stay in the crystal hall, just to make sure they won't be interrupted. One of her primary goals is to teach and prepare these girls to be the future Empress. The Emperor is named Kyro. The Empress is named Raikara. Lady Arisa will play a bigger role in this storyline . . >:3 |

"I-I don't even know you! Yet I am being expected to go some court thing?! I-I'm not doing that, I can't do that. I'm not some noble woman, I'm a farmer. Your family will get nothing from me. Just pick someone else but me. " Sara said, going on a ramble. "I-I can't go to court, I have a farm to take care of and my daughter. I don't even trust you! I don't even know your name, or how old you even name or anything! I'm not going to court. I'm not doing that." She held Jessie closer to her. |

Your name was already announced, and please believe me when I say I don't want this any more than you do!" He sighed, looking up at her. "Jessie would be fine.." He admitted, not sure if she would just go on a rant again. "Your farm would be looked after, and both you and Jessie would be treated as if you were royalty." He paused, letting it all sink in for her. "You wouldn't have to do anything; Just show up to interviews about your life in the palace, and pretend to not hate me in public. . " He sighed, standing up. "Sarah, you're holding Jessie so tight she can't breathe. ." He remarked, gently moving her arm from Jessie's back. |

No one ever treated me like that before. Why should they now!" She said as she shook her head. "I-if I do this... You promise not to pick me and after this will will go our separate ways. Ok?" Back now!)) |

He was surprised she'd even consider doing this. He'd assumed her only reaction would be anger and panic, but here she was, ready to agree as long as he agreed to her terms. He pulled his arm back and crossed his arms anxiously. He wasn't meant to show weakness, especially not in front of anyone. He gave her a small nod, still looking at Jessie. She'd woken up, and appeared to be uncomfortable. "I don't want a bride who will despise me. I've already told my father I'll only marry for love, so you've no reason to worry. My intentions with you were only friendship." He gritted his teeth, knowing it was stupid for him to think she'd even want to befriend him. He couldn't censor himself any longer; He took a step towards her and gently moved her arm again. Jessie still squirmed, but it was less now. "S-Sorry. She was uncomfortable. I won't touch you again." He sighed, stepping back. "We should- We should go over what'll happen next." He paused, trying to decide how best to sum it up. "You and Jessie will move into the palace. I'll select quarters for you, away from the other women if you wish. There will be maids and servants assigned to you; They'll help you with anything you should need. You'll receive a new wardrobe, as will Jessie." He added that last part, though it wasn't entirely true. Jessie wasn't supposed to be there, but he wouldn't let anyone take her away. He'd simply have to arrange Jessie's needs on his own, rather than having an official do it, as he did for the other women. "The only things you'll be expected to do are to appear with me in public from time to time, attend a few interviews about your life in the palace, and spend some time with the other women and the Empress in the crystal hall. You'll receive a tour of the palace in a few days time, and if you want, I can have your room tailored to your tastes. I know you might not want it to be as extravagant as the other womens'." He finished, allowing it to all process. |

"So . . Is there anyone you need to say goodbye to? Once you enter the palace, you'll only be allowed to have visitors on select days, and you aren't supposed to leave the palace campus. ." He informed her, realising that was another thing he'd screwed up for her. She couldn't even go home to see her family, and he doubted they knew she'd been selected. She'd just disappear . . Without a trace. |

Ten or so minutes later, the last of the six ladies had come to join them. He walked up to the front of the room and began to address them all with his generic, bland, pre-made speech. "Hello there ladies! I do hope you're having as fine of an evening as I am!" He smiled, though it was entirely fake. "I'm sure you have noticed, but there are ten girls in here rather than six. Well, the thing is, you six were selected from our empire, but these four women are princesses from the neighboring kingdoms. While you are here, your status shall be nearly equal, and I expect you all to treat one another with respect and dignity. After all, any one of you could become my Empress." He paused, letting the whispers die down. "Now, the first matter we will need to address is your quarters. You will all be given your own rooms in the east wing, which has convenient access to the powder rooms, parlors for interviews and visitation, and the crystal hall." He looked over at Sarah, noticing that she was actually paying attention. "A maid shall escort each of you to your rooms, and there you will find that it is blank and ready to be customized. You may all put in orders for whatever it is you'll need to feel comfortable during your stay here. Should you have any complaints, you may come straight to me. Now, I have some matters to attend to, so please follow the maid with your name on her card." He sighed, glad that this part was over. As the women began scrambling to find their maids, he quickly took Sarah's arm and walked swiftly into the next room. It was a room similar to the meeting room, but it was a bit smaller. "Sorry, I just didn't want to stay in there with all the commotion. ." He sighed, letting go of her. "I haven't assigned you a maid yet- I figured you'd want to choose for yourself, so for now, I'll just escort you to your room. If- If that's alright with you." He added, turning to face her. |
