Lucy had always been fond of children, especially little girls. As soon as she saw the child, her nervousness faded away. She got down on her knees and waved to her, giggling at the girl's grabby motions. She looked up at Lady Sarah and asked quietly,
"May I pick her up, miss?"
The shock of the other maids could be heard all around her, but she didn't care. She loves babies, and she can't help her reactions sometimes.

Sarah gave a small nod, a soft smile on her face as she watched Lucy. Jessie giggled as she was picked up, and she gave Lucy a cute little baby smile. "Her name is Jessie." Sarah told Lucy, with a smile.

She propped Jessie up on her hip, tickling her as she giggled.
"She's adorable, my lady!" She smiled, bouncing up and down with her.
"S-So we're not in trouble.?" Camryn asked meekly from behind Anne.
Lady Sarah shook her head, and everyone suddenly became much more relaxed. Some began speaking with her ladyship, while others gossiped among themselves.
"We're not sure why we were called here, my lady. Do you know why.?" Anne asked, walking up to Lady Sarah.

"I'm new to all of this...but I was told I was supposed to have the help of maids. But I feel bad for asking you guys to do everything for me, when I can do it...Plus you guys already have enough rude people shouting at you guys all the time, there is no reason for me to burden you guys with work I could do myself."

Anne laughed at that. Though she had to admit, it was nice that someone actually cared.
"Well, I suggest you choose the three who'll let you be the most. Lucy, Mary and I are a team. We grew up in the same cohort here in the palace, so if you choose one of us, please choose all of us." She sighed, feeling strange for speaking so casually with her superior.
"The others aren't very social. They'll probably just treat you how they're trained to. If you want someone to talk to, I'm your girl!" Mary walked up behind Anne and wrapped her arms around her.
"Mary! You scared me; Don't sneak up on me like that!" Anne laughed, squeezing her hand.

"Well, I will pick you guys then. I don't want you guys to get split up from one another. If you guys are ok with helping me that is.." Sarah said as she looked at them. Jessie giggled at Lucy her hands holding onto her shirt.

Anne nodded as Mary wrapped her arms around her waist. Her face flushed a pinkish colour, and she quickly shot Mary a look that said, 'Not here!'.
Soon enough, the other maids left, all feeling much lighter now that they knew they weren't being punished. Lucy was braiding Jessie's hair while Mary and Anne measured Sarah for her new dresses.

Gtg soon luv, Viv and I are going to a waterpark with some friends ^.^ ))

Sarah tried her best not to move when they were measuring her. She stayed silent and she fiddled with her hands nervously. Jessie giggled as Lucy braided her hair.

"My lady, are you alright..?" Mary asked, since Anne had the pins in her mouth.
"I understand that this is all new to you, but there's much more to do after this. You've still got etiquette lessons, and your meeting with the Empress! I suggest you save your worrying for later! It'll be of no use to you today." Lucy added, glancing at them as she finished up Jessie's braid.
