// POV SWITCH // Ryomu had just finished speaking with Lady Elisia, and was now on his way to the final room. Lady Arisa's. He'd never been too fond of her, but the Crest house was a loyal house of the council, and their interaction was inevitable. And so, he put on his best 'Prince' face, and knocked on her door. A small maid answered the door, simply nodding her head and stepping aside for him to enter. "Oh my~! Well hello there, Ryomu!" She bubbled, acting as though she hadn't already known he was coming. Ryomu could have sworn he heard Jessie giggling, but he brushed it off and quickly allowed his attention to return to Lady Arisa. "Well, I must say, you've been very generous with my quarters! I'd not been expecting them to be this large, so I truly must thank you!" She dipped her head gracefully. He hated this. Everything about her was fake, staged, preplanned. He'd always hated liars, and she was no exception. "Of course, Lady Arisa. Nothing less would do for an esteemed woman such as yourself. After all, the Crest House has served the Empire for generations, I could do no less." He dipped his head in return. "Well, I really should be on my way, but I shall look forward to seeing you at tomorrow's breakfast celebration." He bowed, turning to leave. "And I must say, Lady Arisa, you do look rather lovley this evening. I prefer that colour on you." He smirked before closing the door behind him. He'd been doing that with all of the women; He'd flatter them and then compliment them on a specific aspect about themselves. The women who amplified this aspect were the ones who were trying to impress him. The ones who simply thanked him and went on their way were the ones who didn't care. Those who cared took a genuine interest in him, and they were the ones he'd want to keep around. He ran a hand through his hair and turned around, only to see Sarah standing there with Jessie. |

Sarah stood there for a moment and looked at Ryomu for a moment. She simply turned around and quickly walked off, not sticking around at all for Ryomu to say anything. |

He waved to Jessie, who was still leaning into her mom's shoulder. He wasn't too bothered by the fact that Sarah had left. I mean, he was the one who had said they needed to not be seen together. He walked back down the hall towards the west wing. He nodded to the guards outside his room before entering. He got changed and then went to bed, not even bothering to blow out the candle. // TIME SKIP // The next morning, he was woken up by the sounds of his mother and father's daily screaming match. He groaned as he got dressed, already mentally preparing himself for breakfast. He wondered for a moment if Jessie would be there, but he quickly shook those thoughts from his mind. He needed to keep a clear head if he wanted to survive this. He made his way down to the dining hall, greeting each of the Ladies and Princesses as he passed them. He greeted Sarah as he would anyone else, but his smile for her was genuine. She's beautiful. . I wonder if she likes the dresses? He wondered as he sat down near the head of the table. |

As soon as his parents arrived, the announcements began. "Good morning, ladies! I trust you've all been made comfortable!" Ryomu announced, standing up to address everyone. "Your schedules have all been delivered to you by now, and first up for all of you will be the tour, led by yours truly!" He smiled through gritted teeth. "After the tour, you'll all be given the opportunity to spend some time in the Crystal Hall with my beloved mother." He paused so they could whisper amongst themselves. "Now, I've had the chefs prepare traditional dishes from all of your home towns! So please, dig in!" He sat down as the servants brought out everyone's food. |

The food Sarah was giving, she kinda nibbled at it..not really eating it. She other quietly after a moment. As the people around her started eating and chatting, she kinda just moved some of the food around on her plate. But she did however sneak a piece of food into a napkin which she hid in her lap. |
