Having picked another being to stick to, Zhangzi leaped from the river's rapids and pulled himself onto the first tree branch he could. Leafs fell as he jumped to the next, water completely leaving his scales and fur. He followed after the Hellhound from above without trying to hide it. Dogs had good hearing, there wasn't much of a point in trying to hide it.

Latching part of his tail around a sturdy branch, he swung down so he could be almost eye level with her. "I'm lonely." He sulked almost pathetically. If he ever had a mate, he'd probably killed or constantly hunted them for sport. He could get along with others very easily, but it was all fake. His charisma was part of the reason he was so dangerous.

He left her alone, pulling himself back up and heading back to the river. He ate the eggs from a birds nest as a snack on the way. It wasn't much of a meal, his diet was all over the place. He could eat fish, other beings, berries, tires.
