Posted 2022-06-10 15:34:33 (edited) #769466 Ouro opens her black eyes to her den glittering gems and glowing plants meeting her vision. Just as she had left it before sleep had taken over her. The night before she'd had a run in with another fox like creature, not quite the same as her but similar and the unwanted interaction from the younger fox being had left her tired. Foxes never tired of wanting knowledge but they sure knew how to keep a stranger in a chokehold of questions all night. Sighing she gets to her paws a bit reluctant to face the day and whatever occurrences may happen. She saunters over toward the entrance of the cave and begins the climb upward until the sun greets her. Poking her head out of the entrance she glances around before quickly enveloping herself in a small illusion. As if she hadn't been there and the grass around her lay unperturbed. Scouting around she makes the long trek to the lake, her paws nimbly carrying her the few miles. Upon arrival she quickly notices unfamiliar scents off in the distance carried by the wind,  but remains unbothered and continues to the waters edge.

Posted 2022-06-10 15:38:34 #769470 Shadow eventually forces her body up,.needing to hunt since she had thrown all her food out because of the hellhound, and so she uses some of her energy, making a portal out tod her dimension and leaves, leaving the portal open to save energy as she goes to hunt, staying close.to the portal.

Posted 2022-06-10 15:46:20 #769477 Ouro laps up the water of the lake almost greedily, thirstiness over taking her. Feeling better she stands back. Eyeing her surroundings she decides she may as well go for a hunt, her thirst may be satiated but her hunger was unquenched. Turning tail she trots along the riverbank, eyes open and ears perked for any sights or sounds of small animals. Finding none she heads into the forest. Silently creeping along.

Posted 2022-06-10 15:48:43 #769480 Shadow walked silently but wasn't cautious about walking, able to walk silently without looking as she sniffs and hunts, though she was a bit shaky as she pulled out her bow to hunt a squirrel that was ahead of her, taking her time to aim the arrow*

Posted 2022-06-10 15:56:49 (edited) #769487 As Ouro heads deeper into the forest she notices an unusual scent. Deciding to investigate she walks up to a tree. Her paws making no noise as she pulls her lithe body into the tree to gain a better viewing point. After climbing about fifteen feet off the ground she scans the area, her eyes settling on the creature with the unusual scent. It is about 30 meters away and looked to be having difficulty hunting a squirrel. Slightly disappointed at herself for not getting to the squirrel first, she decides to wait in the tree, waiting.. Wrapping her tails around her paws, she sits back on her haunches, observing.

Rather than shooting through the squirrel's eye like she usually aimed to do to preserve food, she shot it in the torso. It still died and she goes to it, removing the arrow before eating the squirrel right there, fur and everything, needing the energy on an extreme level. She even destroyed and ate the bones too. Then she continues searching for things to hunt, bow at the ready.

Watching it feed on the small mammals intrigued her as she noted it had furs covering its body. Perhaps it was a bit hungry. Chuckling to herself again she slithers down the trunk of the tree uncaring about noises caused.

Posted 2022-06-10 16:04:45 #769495 Shadow finds a mouse now, able to aim better so it takes less time to aim and her shot gets closer to where it was aimed. She again gets her arrow back and eats the rodent, continuing her search for food.
