So I appreciate the new idea for hunting, as it does seem to bring in food faster as long as I stick to my home biome (for quickest food retrieval) however I am still struggling to receive enough food. I do not log in as often as I would like, which of course means less hunts a day for me. I am still having to buy food. I understand this is probably not an issue for people who can sign in multiple times a day to re-up their stock, but it has become a challenge for me if I am only signing in once a day. It is only an assumption, however, I feel like this wards away "less active" players, because it is more difficult to survive. I would also like the chance to gain more stats with my lesser abled hunting parties, but I cannot do this when I am struggling with food (I feel like I need to keep putting out the most reliable hunting party to feed my pack, instead of working on stats of the lesser capable parties) Having two parties being able to deploy at a time should help this issue. Positives: 1 - more active players would be able to trade bulk food sales, which would help them gain gc/sc 2- less active players have a better chance at feeding their wolves and continuing to log in without the stress of having to constantly buy food. 3- a better chance at allowing more of your wolves to work on their stats instead of choosing between which hunting parties will get the stats 4 - players logging in more often (I will admit sometimes I don't feel like logging in because I don't have the time to spend on grinding out hunts when I just want to do some of the more "fun" activities. I am sadly really pressed for time in my life right now for work and real-life responsibilities and wish I had more time to enjoy the game) Negatives: are there any??? I hope you support this idea, please feel free to comment agreements or disagreements. Keep in mind that all players are different, and some of us wish we had more time to commit to the game and do not (but we do hope for better survivability if you ask me!) <3 Hydrus |

You can have up to 4 hunting parties sent out at once. They are tied to your den slots; according to the development update #18: 1-24: 1 hunting party 25-49: 2 hunting parties 50-74: 3 hunting parties 75+: 4 hunting parties They did this change specifically because it was difficult for players to feed their wolves, particularly casual players. Everything pro you listed is already a part of the hunting update. |
