He pulled her back several feet so that they were just out of earshot of the UCA agents and Yurami.
"Who are you and why are you following her?!" He demanded, holding a knife to her throat.
He uncovered her mouth so that she could respond, growing irritated with this dog's growling.

Jaxx growled his hackles raising. Ash tensed up before she moved and drew her gun.
She twisted in his grip, moving to point her gun at Sero.

He flinched, but managed to keep the knife pointed at her.
"Who. Are. You?!" He snapped, keeping his voice down.
He tried not to pay attention to her gun that was now pointed at him, but he couldn't help it.

He groaned internally as he lowered his knife. The dog stopped growling, but he could tell it was still on edge.
He kept the knife firmly in his hand, ready to strike should she try anything.
