Cool! I also put a few ideas up above!
My first idea would be Yurami seeing Ashley have a panic attack or flash back, cause I think it would help them kinda bond a little  :3))

HmMmmMM- That seems a little early to me. . What about after she deserts, she kinda realises what she just gave up and that her life is now at risk. It hits her all at once and she shows up at the door already starting to have a panic attack? ))

She woke up the next morning feeling strange. Though, she couldn't quite put her finger on it. She stood up groggily and took off her shirt. She grabbed a big baggy dark red crop from her bag and slid it on, turning around as she did so. She saw the two figures sleeping by the stairs and immediately pulled her shirt down the rest of the way.
She walked over to them cautiously, somewhat terrified of approaching her while Jaxx was still there.
She poked her nose twice and whispered, "Yu ded?"

Hmm, that sounds good! :3))

Ashley couldn't help but jump when she was poked she looked around for a moment before she looked at Yurami. She swallowed a little and ran a hand over her face before she looked at her with a panicked looked. "Shit! I'm late for work!" She said as she quickly stood up. Jaxx jumped up with her wagging his tail happily.

She backed up a bit, giving her some space.
Ash checked her pockets to make sure she still had everything and then ran down the stairs. Yurami put her hair into a bun on her way down, her mismatched eyes practically glowing in the morning light.
Ash opened the door, but stopped halfway through. "Thanks for the help, bye!"
"Uhhh- Bye, I guess?" She waved, yawning.

Ash took off running out of the woods, Jaxx running right beside her. She took off out of the woods and headed to her home getting her uniform in quickly before she headed to where the office was. Though, the moment she was in there she was called in there.

"I have another case for you." Her superior said, sliding a paper over towards her. There was nothing but an address and name. "What about the other information?" Ashley asked, seemingly confused. "You don't need it, just go in an eliminate him" The superior said and with that Ashley left. She got into her car and headed toward the address.

She got out of the car with Jaxx and headed to the building.

She stretched once more before heading back up to the attic. She changed her pants and brushed her hair. She might be a fugitive, but at least she's a cute one. She stared at her hands for a moment before heading downstairs to make some food. She got into the bags of things she'd bought from the gas station and pulled out a box of pancake mix. Pancakes were her favourite, so she was happy the gas station had some mix.

Ash headed inside of the building, clearing the different rooms. But when she opened the last door she saw a five year old boy huddled in the corner. She had her gun pointed at the small boy, and that's the moment her hard shell cracked. She felt the panic growing inside of her. She couldn't do it, she couldn't kill a kid. She just couldn't do it...So...she abandoned her post. She did the most disgraceful thing she ever could have done as a soldier.

Ashley ran out of the building like a bat out of hell. She just kept running, and running until she saw the cabin up ahead. Soon she ran and opened the door to the cottage and closed it behind her. She was breathing hard and her hands were shaking. She was in her uniform and had her gun around her neck.

Bro. I'm so proud of her right now. U,-U ))

She heard the sound of the door slamming and reached for her knife from her pocket. It was just a simple pocket knife she'd picked up from the gas station, but it'd have to do.
She walked silently down the stairs, but that didn't last long.
"Ash? Why're you ba-" She stopped when she saw what was happening.
She ran up to her and put her knife back in her pocket.
"Ash! Can you hear me? I need you to do something for me, okay? I need you to find five things in here that are grey." She told her, putting her hands on Ash's shoulders as she spoke.
