She stood up and checked the time. Ollie knows what time to come home, so he should be here soon. Yurami isn't quite sure how he'll react, but she hopes he doesn't remember Ashley.
There's a patterned knock at the door, and then it opens.
"Hey, bubba! Did you have fun at the party?" She asks as she leans down. He runs straight for her and she picks him up, spinning in a little circle.
"Momma, guess what?" He doesn't wait for her response. "I learned how to do a cartwheel today!" He boasts proudly.
She laughs and then kisses him on the cheek as she sets him down. "Great job, bubba!"

Jaxx saw him and wagged his tail. Ashley seemed to keep her distance. She stood st the entrance way of the room she was gonna stay in. She stared at Ollie, seeing every change that had happened to him.

I am SO sorry! My wifi just crapped out on me for like an hour! ))

By now, Oliver was almost eight, and had been growing his hair out. It was dark brown and almost touched his shoulders. He'd learned to hide his red eyes, so they were almost always their regular green. He stood just above the height of Yurami's waist, since he's a pretty short kid.
"Sooo~ I have a surprise!" She smiled, setting him down. She turned around so that they were facing Ashley, and he immediately recognized her.
"Hey! I know you! It's mommy's friend lady!" He gasped, sounding excited. He ran up to her and hugged her leg, smiling happily.

Welp, I am going on my trip! I hope to talk to you in four days))

Ashley tensed a little the moment Ollie held onto her leg. She swallowed and glanced up at Yurami, not to sure on what to do in a moment like this. She hesitated before she slowly put an hand on his back.

She smiled softly at Ashley's awkwardness. She walked over and pried him off of her leg.
"Ollie, hon, you know that's not how we say hello!" She laughed a bit, tickling him.
He caught his breath and retried his greeting. "I remember you! Hiii~!" He giggled, waving at her.

I'm back now! I survived 95+ degree weather in a hot ass military uniform for 4 days with no AC.))

Ashley smiled softly and gave him a tiny wave, " Hey. You've grown so much. "
She chuckled a little before she moved and put her hands into her pockets.

"I'm gonna get him to bed. Are you hungry?" Yurami asked, walking over to Ollie's room.

Ash gave a small shake of her head, " No. I'm fine. " She stayed against the wall behind her. She swallowed a little as she ran a hand through her hair. Jaxx was laying down beside her feet, his head down on his paws.

Oh dang- that sounds bad .-. ))

Even with the two year gap, it wasn't difficult for Yurami to read Ash. Ollie waved bye as they walked into his room.

A few minutes later, Yurami came back out to find that Ash wasn't there. She knocked on Ash's door lightly as she opened it.
"Hey, you in here.?" She spoke softly, finally letting her exhaustion catch up with her.

Alsoooo- I totally forgot what we planned to do. Checkpoint time? :| ))
