She walked over to Jaxx and gave him some pets.
"If I can pet the dog, then you can hold the kid." She hesitated. "And in case you're wondering, you won't hurt him. Bloodbending has to be intentional, even if it's only subconscious." She tried to reassure her.

Ashley hesitated again. She moved slowly and picked him up. She kinda just held him the air, hesitant to bring him closer.

She smiled, finding it amusing how awkward she was. She let them have a minute, and Ollie stopped crying.
"Alright now bud, you've gotta get to school. Are you all ready?" She asked, standing back up.
"Yesss!" He smiled, hopping down and showing her his backpack.
"Okay, bubs. Say bye bye and get going!" She sighed, knowing he was nearly late as is. He ran up and hugged Ashley before turning to her and hugging Yura as well. She bent down and gave him a kiss on the cheek.
"Bye, bubs~!" She smiled, waving as he walked down the stairs.
"Bye mommy!" He called.

She punched her in the arm lightly and laughed.
"No promises, and it wasn't that bad!" She pulled her hair back in to a ponytail again before sighing, "Alright now, officer apathy. I've got some time to kill. Why don't we head down to the training grounds?" She suggested.

"Huh? Oh, don't worry! We have special training dummies, so you won't have to practice on anyone!" She smiled.
Ash nodded, and they headed down the stairs. Yurami said hi to a few people on the way there, and no one was really paying much attention to Ash anymore. All except for one. Kieran Andreas. He's a heightened intelligence with superstrength, but he's a U.L.(Unstable Limited), so he has very little control over his abilities.

They were in an empty part of the compound, designed specifically for Yura to practice.
"Here we are! I'm the only one that uses this place, so we shouldn't be interrupted." She smiled, looking out at the battered land. Let's just say she'd had a few bad days . . The burns on the ground would confirm this.

"You can come here any time you'd like. It's the safest place to practice, so don't worry about hurting anyone." She smiled, walking over and setting up a few dummies.
