My Quest for Denim!

I have become obsessed with this base. I feel like I need it in my life.

Unfortunately, my current stud is a Skarn base (so, Tier I). I might customize him someday to a Tier II (pewter, most likely) though.

So far, I have customized two females:

Sneachta

Silent Storm

And I'll see where it goes from here.

This thread is mostly to document my journey on the Denim Quest. I will post the pups I get on my quest, potential parents, etc.

According to the Grouse House Guide on Genetics, the best choices if I want to customize my breeding male would be:

• cool medium (Galena)
• cool dark (Lilac)
• monochrome medium (Chert)
• monochrome dark (Onyx, Pewter)

Out of these, Pewter is probably my favorite but it's already Silent Storm's base.

Also, I really like Skarn and I wish there was a TII base in the cool dark ones that wasn't gray or a weird color.

So, I'll sleep on it. Take the time to think about it, maybe go for a first round of breeding with the Skarn base, and then customize the stud.

Time for an update!

I ended up customizing my breeding male:

I'm gonna miss the Skarn base, but this is so cool!

My two females are in heat, and I bred them to my male. We'll see how it goes!

I also bred Encke (nocturne base) a couple of days ago, to another stud. She is expecting 3 pups! 

Hopefully, in all of these babies some will be T2. I don' really expect a Denim base for now, but I would be delighted to get one so quickly.

I was in a Denim quest too, but then I saw Sphalerite and now I cant decide. Love all the dark ones like that.

Sphalerite is also a great base! I'm weak for all the dark monochrome/cool bases of this game, the art is just too good.

Hey, also poking in here to say that my stud has bred four denim pups and a sphalerite  so far if you are interested. He is found here if you have any interest in breeding him or looking at the bases he was bred to to try and get one of your own! I have been very pleased so far, most of my tier II breedings have resulted in pretty bases.
