Whereas Development updates are centralised on adding in new features, expanding upon or adjusting existing features, and implementing new artwork and coding, Community updates are meant to introduce weekly raffles, new weekly raffle studs, new polls, and showcase some minor changes and bug fixes that have been made in the past week. Moderating COI, Generations, and Inbreeding Development Update #19 introduced new mechanics: official COI, generation, and inbreeding tracking. We have received some questions regarding whether we will moderate and take action against wolves that are falsely marked as non-inbred if inbreeding exists in their heritage, or wolves that are marked as incorrect generations. Hopefully this news post helps to address our stance on the matter. If a wolf is advertised as 0% COI and the reported "Inbreeding Coefficient (COI)" percentage on the wolf's immediate family page is higher than 0%, we will treat this as falsely advertising. If a wolf is advertised as, for example, being 1st generation, and the reported "Generation" on the wolf's immediate family page is higher than their claimed generation, we will treat this as falsely advertising. If a wolf is advertised as non-inbred and the reported "Instances of Inbreeding" on the wolf's immediate family page is higher than 0, we will treat this as falsely advertising. To clarify, what we mean by "immediate family page" is the page that all players see when clicking a wolf's "View Family" button without going any further back in the wolf's heritage. We will not be moderating COI percentages or inbreeding instances if they occur further back in a wolf's heritage than what is immediately visible at first view. As this was not mentioned in Development Update #19, we are giving all players one week from today (up to June 24th, 2022) to adjust to this new ruling before our staff team will take action against them. You'll know if you won, as you'll have received a Game Notification in your inbox informing you of such! As a reminder, the previous raffle stud's exclusive attributes were the Black Panda and White Lupos markings! Our newest weekly raffle stud has been released! Development Update #19 introduced new mechanics: official COI, generation, and inbreeding tracking.
