Hi and welcome!

I've participated in several of these design contests myself, and thought, why not, let me give back to the community!

I have found myself with a dilemma of sorts. I have two heirs for my breeding male, a Rust based boy and a Tier 1 based boy who has 4 or 5 BO and RMA marks. I have dabbled in designing them, but so far havent found any designs I've liked enough to feel like they would be good sufficient breeders for several months. So I decided to give other people a chance!

Each player may submit a total of six designs, split up how you like between the two options for heirs. Ultimately whichever design I like best and can afford will become the heir. If you can, please include the price for the design, based on what I need to buy from the grove. Also, it would be nice to see a picture of them, but if not the wardrobe link will be fine. 

Now for the details, I intend to be a bit picky and have some basic requirements for the designs for either boy. 

For  both boys:

Please keep their nose, skin, and claw colors the same. I dont really care about those aspects of their appearance and dont want to spend extra GC changing them. 

Also Please keep their current markings. I'm trying to minimize the extra GC spent on adding or removing marks, and most of them are custom/rma/bo anyways.

That said, you can mess with the opacities! I would prefer 100% marks, however if you need to change it for the aesthetic (especially the merles), you can lower them to 50% but no lower. 

I would like the designs to all be the full 10 markings, and they should be custom only markings, but not rma markings. This guide is a good place to look to decide on what markings to use. 

For Finch please leave his base as Rust. The only reason I am considering him over Hawk is that there is only one Rust stud in game atm, so it would be a good time to bring him in. 

For Hawk please make sure his base is one of the Tier II bases available in custom. I like the look of Russet, but Im happy to look at other options as well. 

Things I like:

Red, cream, black, and white markings. These should give me a good chance to breed Zircon, Auburn, and Silver breed only marks (I think). Plus my current boy is browns and honeys, so a more red toned stud would be nice. 

I do not like bright garish designs with clashing colors. I much prefer softer shades and mixing of colors, and a smooth transition. 

Bonus points if the design kind of fits their name, but not necessary. 

The winning design will get 10 gc or 10 refunded breedings, the runner up will get 5 gc or 5 refunded breedings!

The closing date for the contest will be the 9th of November, which is the day before I can change my breeding male. 

It seems many entries didnt seem to fit well with the guidelines I set probably because I made it too complicated, and I was impatient and decided to work on the designs more myself. So this is closed after some work on my part. That said, CaliforniaDreamin's Design inspired me a bit for my foinal design, so I will be sending them a prize of sorts, so you can count it as them having won!

An attempt at Finch and an attempt at Hawk~

Hey all! Looking good so far, but I would be more likely to choose designs that follow the preferences stated in the first post, so make sure to check the requirements again and see if that changes your designs! I included some helpful links to guides on what you could use!

Finch 50% + - 25 marks + 9 Opacity + 3 eyes = 37GC

Finch - 25 marks + 5 Opacity + 3 eyes = 33GC

Hawk 50% + - 10 base + 20 marks + 10 Opacity + 3 eyes = 43GC

Hawk - 10 base + 20 marks + 4 Opacity + 3 eyes = 37GC

Edit: For some reason I thought a base changer was 5GC even though it's 10, recalculated!

Eyes - 3 gc

8 (or 9) opacity changers - 8-9 gc (I changed the # 10 mark to 70 but I also think it looks good at it's current opacity)

5 marks - 25 gc

36 or 37 gc total
