Bursting through the gate, the watcher wolf slows down right in front of Rain and gently lowers Mirage to the floor before nudging the albino's face with his snout.

Mirage curled up in a ball, refusing to move- anything heard from him was either soft whimpering or ineligible mumbling.

"He laid down next to some mounds and didn't get back up; the fire would've swallowed him if I hadn't gotten there. Sorry, I couldn't save his bag, it burned up on the way back." The watcher wolf explained.

Rains eyes widen, he's seen this sage before "oh…I'm- im sorry little spider.." he presses his forehead agains Mirage and says "thank you stranger." He looks at the strange wolf and has a sad look in his eyes, the look of one who's lost something.

"It's Blood Moon's Snow, though I also go by Blood Moon or simply Moon. . . and I'm staying with him from now on." He nods to Mirage. "Though he knows me as Sparrow." Mirage looked towards him with tired eyes at those words before shaking his head as if he heard wrong and scooting closer to Rain.

"Because when he went off looking for adventure, I followed him; when he got stuck in a shift loop, I lost him. I've been looking for him since and the only reason I'm not dead is because of that. He's my only pack member left, as both he and I saw, and I have no home to go back to even if I were to leave."

Mirage didn't move, his eyes had a far-away look to them.

"It's not Mirage. It was never Mirage. You know that Sparrow, I was never supposed to be named Mirage." Mirage snapped, sitting up and looking at both of them, tears in his eyes.

Rain got a tad pissed that this wolf thought he trusted everyone, he was just nice.

But now he was hurt and so was his friend, he was just about ready for a fight when he heated Mirage talk "Sparrow?"
